Ozempic kicking in LATE?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Not the original poster, but mind sharing how Oz just didn't work out for you? I'm basically a non-responder myself and wondering if we're dealing with the same thing.

Appreciate that, but honestly do you think two weeks is enough runway for Ozempic to prove itself? Genuinely torn on whether to switch back right away or push through a few more weeks first.

Ozempic never delivered for me personally, that mental food chatter stuck around and I kept caving to cravings regularly. You're likely underestimating your actual intake. Switched over to Tirzepatide paired with Metformin and I'm finally seeing real progress. Bonus, that food noise disappeared entirely.

Currently at 2mg on ozempic myself. Doctor bumped me up because that food noise came roaring back. Helped for maybe a week before it crept in again. Closing in on nine months total, just past 30 pounds lost, and honestly I've made peace with the slow pace. He wants me to give this dose a fair shot before deciding on a Mounjaro switch. Reading through everyone's replies here, sounds like that's the direction I'm heading. Up in Canada, so I'm guessing full price applies for Mounjaro? Can't complain about my hundred dollar pens for now though!

Been taking this drug class for three months now. Zero reduction in food noise. Barely any weight lost. Putting real effort into protein, fiber, water, and eating enough overall. Bumping up to a full milligram tomorrow. Genuinely hopeful this finally kicks things into gear. The sugar cravings have been absolutely brutal.
