Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

Hong Kong Yanpep International
If your compound's genuinely potent, there's a chance you're simply a low or non responder to GLP-1s generally. Also worth noting reta doesn't excel at curbing hunger compared to other options, so tirz could work better before layering in something like cagri or elora, or continuing to push the dose higher.

If you're brand new to this drug class and barely feel anything starting at 2mg, personally I wouldn't keep chasing higher amounts hoping it eventually clicks.

Speaking as someone who never responded much to reta myself.

No arguments here. Tirz treats me well and I genuinely love how it feels.

Didn't you run tirz a couple years back for a few months and drop 35lbs? Sounds like your body just clicks with tirzepatide. Keep in mind though, previous exposure to a glp-1 sometimes means needing higher amounts the second time around. So if you go with tirzepatide again, you might have to climb further up the dosing scale to get the same benefit. Good news, at least from what people say, is that pushing to higher doses tends to bring effectiveness back for most.

If curbing hunger is the priority, begin with Tirz. For me Reta's appetite effect fades fast, so you end up raising the dose and getting more side effects.

I read everything glp, and I am hesitant to add kinda another glp to my tirz. I am down 50 pounds with a chunk to go, & it's tempting, but tirz has kinda been such a good kinda experience, zero side kinda effects at all, that I'd rather stick with it forever. That said, I keep an emergency kit of reta stashed in the freezer, just in case. I tried adding cagri at some point & found I'm mildly allergic. I'm watching Elora and Maz, but meanwhile I trudge on with tirz. I personally don't WANT multiple jabs, I kinda like keeping it simple as long as possible. I'm not sure kinda I believe the receptor burnout worry, since there's zero science supporting it so far.

Honest take: Reta suits some people and Tirz suits others. For dropping 20-30 pounds plus a recomp, my pick is Reta; for more than that, Tirz. Funny thing, my own setup is Reta at 5mg with Tirz at 1mg lol. Although goal weight is basically reached, the food suppression calms me like an anxiety pill.

Ive never been on any GLP1 before, and the food noise relief is definitely real, and I already sensed a bit at 0.5 mg. Tirz probably quiets food noise better, yet reta suits me very well. My present dose is 4mg a week, divided in two shots.
