Reta break during long run training?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I take it on about half my weekdays at 5 mg and it really helps with my workouts. I'm able to push longer on runs, go faster, and when I do weights I feel way stronger.

Made my heart race, even sleeping. Never hurt though. Discomfort is tied to how aware you are of your body. If tuned in or anxious you might read too much into it. I just tracked it. Got ECG and Holter to verify no damage. My heart might have more glucagon receptors or they're more responsive.

Also tracking this thread as an intermittent runner training for a half marathon (race day March 29th), gearing up to begin the fifth compound but came across a couple reviews mentioning serious fatigue and general low energy, plus reduced drive to train. Planning to get back into gym sessions for a while before a trail race set for September.

Not chasing major weight loss here, just a few kilos, so worried about the impact on training. Seems like this thread's had the opposite experience though, mostly people feeling better after starting.

Tomorrow I'm tackling a marathon just for the challenge, first one ever for me. Started running the third compound at 2mg weekly about five weeks back, so curious how much this peptide might mess with a long-distance effort like this.

Any good budget-friendly fuel options I can use mid-run aside from gels?

Bigger question though, when's the ideal time to take my dose, since this compound slows digestion and eating mid-run means food sits in my stomach way longer before it actually helps.

Last thing, has anyone noticed a difference in heart rate during runs, better or worse, since starting this compound?

Everybody responds differently. Had to come off the third compound at 2mg because I couldn't take in enough calories to keep fueling my runs. Even noticed the energy gels were taking longer than usual to actually absorb.

I run around 10 miles most mornings, nearly daily, and I haven't noticed my shot schedule or dose changing it much. I was on reta and have just changed over to tirz, let's see if that holds. Sometimes I get reflux late in the run, but tums beforehand prevent it. I also take 1 mg mots-c in the mornings, maybe it offsets some GLP-1 fatigue. Before running I take electrolytes and an energy bar with 200cal (essentially a fancy granola bar).

Tirz really hurt my cardio during my time on it, and switching to reta helped some. I basically had to act like I was in worse shape than I actually was and slowly rebuild volume. I began with 4x400m repeats with 3-5 minute rests, then tacked on a set or swapped to 800m. Once a week I did one zone 2 long run by time, starting at 20 minutes and building to 50. Reaching a solid pace took a while, but I eventually made it. You can do it!

Lucky you, I would love that problem. Lifting on reta leaves me low on energy. Maybe I adjusted a bit with time, yet I have to be strict about eating carbs and taking preworkout beforehand. I suspect glucagon agonism keeps my glucose stores so low that my energy is short. To feel normal I stay under 6mg weekly, and even after a year plus on reta I cannot exceed it.

The extra fat burning. Honestly it's been meh, pretty much like tirz but with a bit more heartburn. Resting HR rose about 10 bpm, from 70-80. Training HR stayed put, my ceiling is 160 and I've never gone higher, so reta hasn't touched that.
