Pen looks a little full...normal?

Both my doctor and pharmacist gave me this plan for that first 1mg pen, same as yours: 0.25mg x 4, then 0.5mg x 2, giving 6 full doses. The following pen, another 1mg, held four 0.5mg doses. Since each pen ended up a hair under 0.25 short of empty, the leftover funded one extra shot. Keep spare needles in case you use the extra or split doses. I ordered more needles from Amazon since the full 0.5 gave me too many side effects, so now I inject twice weekly at 0.25. Im still losing so it works for me.

Anyone else find the last dose is not quite right? I use a 10mg pen with a 5mg dose, so 30 clicks. I got seven doses at 30 clicks & the last came at 16 clicks. Guess I am about to be really hungry all week.

maintenance_update Check with your pharmacist when in doubt, but it does say four doses printed on it, so I do not believe it's one of the pens holding the following two 0.5 doses. Pens normally have medicine left over, so all four doses come out full. Should the pharmacist say it's a four-dose pen, leave the remainder alone.

New pen? They look half used after the first dose because we're used to way more liquid in there. The plunger should sit all the way down after 4 doses these days, unlike the old pens that left over a whole dose after 4.

That's the new pen style. Threw me off the first time I used one too. Looks like two doses used, two remaining there. Mine looked the exact same after two doses.
