Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I've tried everything for Ozempic side effects, and the biggest help was: 1) Zofran (ondansetron), a prescription anti-nausea drug. Get a script from your doctor. The dissolving ODT form suits anyone who can't even keep water down. Mornings were rough, I threw up daily at the drug's peak, a day or two post-shot. 2) Miralax. Ozempic means lots of fiber and protein needed, and Miralax keeps things moving, a daily dose until you eat more fiber. Third comes protein shakes. Breakfast doesn't appeal to me, yet the protein matters. Trial and error finds your flavor, mine is Fairlife, it tastes like chocolate milk but delivers 26g protein. Nowadays I rarely need the meds since it settles. Dose one was the worst, and symptoms resurged with every increase, but it hardly affects me now.

Some tiredness on reta, nothing major. The real problem is stomach cramps and constipation, sometimes it feels like the Hulk punched me in the gut :) I eat a healthy nutritious diet with a good mix of fibre, drink plenty of water and am slowly upping my exercise, and nothing has helped so far. I've dropped 25kg and I'm very happy with that, but I have to get things moving :( I'd much rather fix this with food and nutrition, but I worry medication is coming. Pooping was never a challenge back when I was a big guy for years.

You MUST hit your protein. my dose is 2.5mg twice weekly, and feel reta's side effects, nausea and exhaustion, more when I fall short on it. Being dehydrated makes me sick too. I did keto before starting, but now I include soluble plus insoluble fibre against the constipation. Psyllium powder, milled chia and pear juice did wonders for me, and lately a bit of generic miralax powder each day keeps things moving.

i was dealing with this well before starting a glp1 actually, it kicked off years earlier when i had an ovarian cyst. the first doctor i saw just blamed the glp1 and wouldnt hear me out. switched to a different doctor who actually listened. / / my nightly routine includes that miralax powder, and mornings i blend up a smoothie with frozen strawberries, chia, a flavor packet, and water, letting the chia sit for about fifteen minutes first. started lynzess recently but its honestly not accomplishing a lot, despite running the max dose.
