Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

I had the opposite issue in the beginning. I'd trust a fart and pay the price!!! Hopefully things will regulate for you soon, NurseFam. Good luck!

Seen lots of people say it didn't work until they went higher, so you're not alone. Scale bouncing and bloating are so discouraging especially when you think you're doing everything right. Any appetite changes at all?

Third 0.25 dose just now, also managed to poke myself with the back of the needle after. Oops. Not weighing at home, only at the doc's office. Side effects are mild diarrhea, food noise dropped some but not totally quiet. Cravings for chocolate raisins are way less though.

Sorry they screwed you. Back in the day Brello would just believe whatever dose you said you were on. I told them 15mg of Tirz and used their Rx with another provider that needed one.

triceps at gym tonight and got sharp elbow pain. been on BPC-157 and TB-500 few weeks, helped with some stuff but this is new. wondering if i should up my BPC-157 dose from twice daily or my TB-500 from monday and thursday. BPC is 250mcg, TB is 0.5mg.

My experience: fasting completely on the day with the heaviest suppression—two days post-shot for me—breaks stalls hard. Keep adjusting my goal lower. At 145 now, sitting at 154, 54F, 5'7". Slower every week, about half a pound now. On 0.5mg.

You're not in a race, right? 😊 Lower dose, simpler stack for as long as it works—that's what most of us agree on. Plus it's cheaper. Diet, exercise, and sleep matter more than chasing higher doses. Less is more here.

The hard pellet phase is almost a rite of passage on GLP-1s. Hydration is the main fix - most people find constipation is directly tied to not drinking enough. Miralax or similar osmotic laxative gets things moving without cramping. Increasing fiber helps but slower to take effect. 72 hours is the usual threshold where most people reach for something.

The 4-week pre-surgery pause is longer than most anesthesiologists require - the standard is 1-2 weeks to reduce aspiration risk from slowed gastric emptying. Post-surgery restart timing usually depends on tolerating oral intake without nausea. Constipation layered on top of surgical recovery is uncomfortable but manageable with osmotic laxatives and hydration.

Betaine and TMG can cause GI distension independent of constipation - it's a methylation load issue rather than a motility issue, which is why Miralax doesn't address it. Stopping the supplement for a few days is usually the fastest way to confirm the source; if distension clears and the constipation pattern stays, that tells you which problem to solve first.

Reactions: FTW
100oz is roughly where most people need to land when on GLP-1s - the hydration target goes up because the medication blunts thirst signal the same way it blunts hunger. Yes, you'll be urinating more for the first week or so as the body adjusts, but it normalizes.

Seconding the stronger laxative suggestion over the standard one, the milder version did nothing for me but the stronger formula actually worked. Pushing hard for four to five liters of water daily now, plus magnesium supplements. Also taking fiber gummies, either a smaller dose three times daily or a bigger dose twice daily.

Not to overshare, but a couple months back things got so backed up it started pressing on other stuff, genuinely had me worried about a prostate issue. Struggled to urinate at all, even when the urge was intense.

Thankfully I finally got things moving again. Took roughly two or three days for the swelling to settle and I've been fine since. Also got bloodwork done specifically checking that prostate marker, happy to report it came back low, so things are looking okay.

I'm super sensitive to just about every substance and medication out there, worth mentioning upfront. Dealt with a handful of minor reactions, but they stayed manageable and eventually faded as time went on.

Dry mouth showed up, along with occasional mild headaches that a couple Tylenol easily handled, some heartburn that responded well to an antacid, and a touch of constipation. To sidestep that last one, aim for roughly 25g of fiber daily however you can get it, ideally from actual food. Still, to keep things moving reliably, I'd strongly suggest stirring a generous spoonful of a laxative powder into your morning drink, it's flavorless and clear.

Just starting month four now, and 28 pounds are gone. Those minor reactions were more than worth the trade-off. Hoping things go smoothly for you too.

Don't forget to stay on top of all that recommended daily water intake. Genuinely matters. I'd also add a sugar-free electrolyte mix. Bought mine as a powder and keep a batch premixed in the fridge. Don't go overboard with electrolytes though. Start small, maybe a cup the first couple days, and build up gradually, since too much can upset your stomach.

Deal with a digestive condition leaning toward constipation. Going more than a week between bathroom trips honestly isn't rare for me. This medication class hit me hard at the start. Had to approach it from several directions at once. What finally seems to work: three stool softeners, a full gram of magnesium oxide, and two chewable fiber gummies before bed. Every day I drink at minimum sixty-four ounces of water, a protein shake mixed with half a dose of an osmotic laxative, plus another two fiber gummies, and on rougher days I'll add a half-gram more magnesium oxide come morning. If nothing's happened past the four-day mark, I'll reach for a proper laxative. Thankfully hitting that point has become rare these days.

Over the years I've experimented with chia seeds, boosting fiber, various magnesium types, enemas, a prescribed treatment for this condition, dried fruit, basically anything suggested. This particular combination stands alone as the one that's actually kept working, month after month. There's a right formula out there for everyone, so keep experimenting! Down 150 pounds and feel like an entirely different person. It's genuinely a hassle, I know, but pushing through to find what works makes it all worthwhile.
