You're doing great, I'm so happy for you! I've been on the shots for nearly a year, and I've gone down 65 pounds, but I'm still aiming for another 20 or so.
Amazing progress, Kerry_1995! It's inspiring to see how consistent effort pays off. I've also found that focusing on small, sustainable changes, like you're doing with diet, can make a huge difference in the long run.
Body dysmorphia is definitely a thing. I've dropped about 115 pounds. I can obviously see the change in photos, but I still feel like I look heavy. I still think people are staring at me because of my weight. I still see small spaces and think I won't fit. I'm hoping this fades over time!
It's been a wild ride for me too. I started semaglutide back in September '23, and now I'm about 40 lbs down from where I was last summer. Still have a bit to go, but enjoying trying on clothes now!
Okay, so I just had to renew my license and WOOF, what a reminder of how far I've come! Here's a shot from like, a year and a half ago, compared to now! I'm also kinda annoyed that I'm using THAT picture on my license until like, 2031 lol
Thank you, but I'm having a hard time with exercise. I'm getting ready for a knee replacement so using my knees at all is a challenge. Still, I appreciate the kind words a lot.
Regarding sterility, has anyone checked the pH of their bac water? I read that some of the generic brands might be too high, which could affect things.
Really appreciate how organized this is.
One thing I'd add for the math-anxious: pick a reconstitution volume that makes your weekly dose an easy number on the syringe. Half the dosing mistakes I see are people choosing awkward concentrations and then misreading units.
