Sema's over for me - crazy side effects!

Gallstones from sema is documented but underreported - the rapid weight loss aspect may be the driver more than the drug itself. Slow titration is the right instinct once you're back on something new.

    Still got some to lose!

Under 100kg is a real milestone - when you've got 20kg left it tends to come slower, but the metabolic shift is already locked in.

    Mounjaro: Metabolism Booster?

Have you tracked absolutely everything you put in your mouth and calculated your true expenditure rate? Even with healthy eating, there can be sneaky calories, and you might be overestimating how many calories you burn. Even a small surplus can add up over time. That being said, if you're being...

    Mounjaro: Metabolism Booster?

It does both reduce appetite and affect metabolism. But keep in mind, it's only a treatment, not a permanent fix. Once you stop the medication, the effects wear off.

    GLP-1 Injections: Morning, Evening, Food?

Anyone else get the chills? Ever since I started, I'm always cold! I've had to buy a bunch of new sweaters and warm socks. It's weird, I used to run hot all the time.

    GLP-1 Injections: Morning, Evening, Food?

    1) Timing - Doesn't matter for most. Be consistent and pick what fits your routine. 2) Fasting - Probably doesn't matter, but it's different for everyone. If you feel queasy, try the other way (fasted vs unfasted). I inject in the AM fasted because of my routine. 3) Temperature - Doesn't seem...

    Oprah & GLP-1s: For life?

Crazy weight loss numbers from inject-FTW! Congrats on the hard work. I wonder if there's a point where the meds just...stop working as well? Maintenance seems like a real challenge.

    Oprah & GLP-1s: For life?

It's kinda wild that she thought she could just stop the meds after all her struggles, huh? Now she's stretching doses way out. I think a super slow taper is the way to go when maintaining. Go up slow when losing, down slow when maintaining. But props to her for being so open about it all.

    R50 or R60 recs?

I know of a group buy going on now that has ZYH R60 that's been tested (3rd party) showing results of 79.06, 78.37, 76.74 and 99.8+% purity for $380 – ends 11/4. I can send you a DM with a link if you want. They also have TCI R60 tested at 73.22, 77.04, 75.50 and 99.5+% purity for $400.

    My Wegovy progress so far!

I've dropped around 25 pounds in maybe 5 months, but I haven't been upping the dosage too much because it messes with my gym days. Anyone else have that experience?

Grey market GLP-1s vs Brand Name?

The main chemical difference is that the grey market GLP-1s are often the salt form (like tirzepatide sodium). The brand name stuff uses the raw API. But since the brand name solutions use sodium chloride anyway, I don't see how extra sodium would change anything.

    Ozempic wins!

This gives me so much hope. I started a similar med a few months ago and I'm down about 30lbs. I'm hoping to get back to being able to run like I did in my 20s. Keep crushing it!

Grey market GLP-1s vs Brand Name?

That's totally wrong. Like, completely and utterly wrong. I can't believe someone told you that. Don't believe everything you read on the internet! I'm sure everyone else will agree.

You look fantastic, like you've turned back the clock! Congrats!

Coming off sema... what should I expect?

I'd think about just cutting back your dosage for now. The standard schedule is kinda aggressive for some people. I didn't even start at .25mg, I went with half of that for a while and titrated up *super* slowly. Started in October, and I'm only at .75mg now. Being at 1mg only three months in...
