Sema success: Keeping it off?

Hello everyone and welcome to the community!

Just a reminder of the group rules. We prohibit any discussion of non-FDA-approved versions of semaglutide, as well as offering to sell or selling medication, even through private messages. Please do not respond to or request private messages from anyone offering these; they aren't endorsed by this group.

If you are new to this, you may find our FAQ helpful. This is here to supplement discussion, not discourage it.

You look amazing in both pictures! Love the top you're wearing in the 'before' pic. I'm also 5'9", my goal is 165.

You look incredible! I'm down around 42 pounds and have about 18 more to go (my goal is to drop 9% body fat and gain 5% lean muscle mass). You're inspiring! Thanks!

Can you give me some advice? I want to be where you are! I'm stuck at 209 and I've cut my calories even more. I feel terrible. I'm starting to think my body is broken :(

Hawk_Wine have you spoken to your doctor about this? It's important to rule out other underlying medical conditions that might be affecting your weight loss.

For those of you who have stopped sema, how have you been maintaining? I'm worried about regaining the weight once I'm off it.

Honestly, I'm just trying to stick to the habits I built while I was on it: smaller portions, healthier choices, and exercise. It's a daily struggle, but it's worth it!

It's amazing how semaglutide can shift one's perspective towards food. I've heard people describe overeating as a form of self-harm, because it's crazy what the silence in your brain allows you to observe about yourself now. That really stuck with me.
