Killer stomach cramps, but doc says keep going?

GI sides at the .5mg jump are one of the more common inflection points - the gap between the initial .25mg adaptation and the next dose is sometimes shorter than the system needs. Fast food is a reliable trigger on top of the dose change, so the cramp episode may have been both at once. If it...

    Tirz appetite suppression TOO strong?

The fat oxidation pathway is what makes Reta feel different - the deficit happens through an additional lever, so the appetite signal doesn't need to be as aggressive. Worth the comparison for anyone finding tirz suppression overwhelming.

    Goal weight! Now what??

Maintenance dose strategy varies but the most common approach is staying at the dose that held you at goal rather than stepping down immediately. Most people find that reducing frequency (every 2 weeks) triggers more hunger than reducing dose (same schedule, lower mg) - so the dose-down path...

    Ground beef GROSS now?!

    I'm gonna try that, thanks!

    Ground beef GROSS now?!

Been on this stuff for about a month. Anyone else get totally grossed out by ground beef? Before the shot I was fine, but now I chuck it every time!

    Just started Oz... fingers crossed!

    Congrats and good luck! ❤️

    OMG, is that a... jawline?!

I hear you MaintenanceMode! I've been trying to not buy too many new clothes until I reach my goal weight...it's tempting though!

    OMG, is that a... jawline?!

This is truly an amazing transformation. The self-assurance you must feel seeing those before and after images is incredible. Those facial changes tell the story, and it's honestly one of the best non-scale wins out there. You should be incredibly proud of your dedication. Your smile captures it...

    OMG, is that a... jawline?!

I'm 66, and ever since losing weight, I've got this extra skin under my chin. It's a challenge!

    Tirz and undigested food?!

It's a terrible cycle: gut starts slowing down, then around day three, BOOM, cleanout. Then you gotta build the gut biome back up. It's no fun.

Future peps... what's on the horizon?

I've heard bodybuilders use BPC-157 even though it's not prescribed. Is that stuff legal to inject yourself with? I think TB-500 is supposed to be good for healing too.

Crushed it! BMI back in the healthy range!

I saw one person started in April 2024 and went from 242 to 149! A1C improved too. Super encouraging.

Crushed it! BMI back in the healthy range!

Super impressive transformation. Even though I recognize you, it almost seems too drastic to be true. I'm roughly halfway to my goal from a similar starting point and it's making a huge difference in keeping up with the kids. Focused on building strength.

Future peps... what's on the horizon?

I'm watching NA-931, the oral quad-agonist GLP1. Heard there are other triple-agonist GLP1s coming that people think work better than Reta.

Crushed it! BMI back in the healthy range!

Dude, seriously impressive. Meds give a hand, but you still gotta stick to the plan and make smart food choices.

    Down 65lbs! Waist size shrinking...

2.5 is just the starting dose. They'll probably increase you to 7.5 eventually.

    Down 65lbs! Waist size shrinking...

First, congrats! Second, I'm a bit jealous, lol. I wish my weight distributed like that when I was in the 180s. When I was around 187, my stomach didn't look nearly that good. I've always struggled with rolls and an apron belly, even back in high school when I was around 160lbs and played...

    Half my size! (2023-2025)

I'm just starting out on Mounjaro (first week). I have a similar amount of weight to lose and I was wondering if it was even doable. This gives me hope ❤️
