Can't do protein or fats on this stuff!

The fullness-versus-nutrients tradeoff is one of the harder ones early on. When appetite suppression is strong enough that hitting protein goals leaves no room for anything else, spreading intake across smaller amounts throughout the day helps more than larger servings. Liquid sources like Greek...

    Too much at once?

The pace question is worth raising. Front-loaded loss on GLP-1 compounds is well-documented and the first weeks skew numbers significantly. Guidelines vary, and what matters longer term is composition change, not speed alone.

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

It's becoming less of a big deal, but you might still hear it. The science is pretty clear that weight loss without meds isn't sustainable for most people. The meds make it easier to build good habits. No shame in it. We don't shame people for blood pressure pills.

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

Not at all. I'm super open about it, and I think people know not to bother me with their opinions.

Brain still wants pie on Tirz?

Tesamorelin or other GH secretagogues probably won't help with weight loss. Learn about the IGF-1/GH axis and get IGF-1 tested before starting a GH secretagogue. I didn't bother, and I wish I had.

How long did it take you to lose the weight?

Brain still wants pie on Tirz?

Exactly! And I like ordering blood work. Looking only at the scale is tiring, waiting for it to move.

    Too many rules?

I deal with this by being a grumpy pain in the ass. I'll tell almost anyone to screw off if they're spouting nonsense. It limits my friends, but I'm a lot happier.

I'm dealing with fatigue, insomnia, and skin chills (goosebumps). It's been 5 weeks and I'm praying it stops

Reta fatigue: Does it ever lift?

Yep! Food was your emotional security blanket. Now you don't have it, so all the feels are coming up to say hi. I turn into a whole disaster area when I cut back on food 'cause my coping is GONE. God bless anyone nearby til I find new ways to deal.

    Cracked the 200 mark!

It's awesome to read success stories! I'm down about 35 pounds so far, but one of the HUGE wins was fitting into a booth at a restaurant without feeling squished! Anyone else have non-scale victories?
