    Spacing out doses?

Monthly works when you're near goal - dose level is what keeps it.

    Insurance won't pay anymore :(

Compounding pharmacy or direct grey market - those are the paths when insurance drops off.

Off GLP-1s for months – still good!

Going off for months and holding the result is the proof that the habits built during the active phase were real - the Wegovy build-and-store approach is the version of that insurance.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

Has anyone had issues with skin irritation in... uh... awkward places? I've lost a decent amount and now I'm getting a sore on the inside of my butt cheek, probably from the skin folding when I sit. It's not pretty, but it's getting painful.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

Bones. Specifically my knees. Sleeping on my side is a pain now; gotta have a pillow between my knees. Before, my thighs were like built-in cushions.

Dose strength vs vial weight - make sense?

Ferritin came back at 20.3, which is low and explains the fatigue and why exercise and weight loss are harder even with normal hemoglobin. With the TRT and peptides, might need to boost iron intake—heme sources or a supplement—and recheck in a few months.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

My feet got smaller! Shoes that fit perfectly are now way too big. I had to buy all new socks!

    Bad thoughts on Ozempic?

First two months on the lower dose went really well, lost a lot. Just started 1mg this week—hit me pretty hard those first couple days but it's leveling out. As long as I don't overeat, which honestly I don't want to, feels fine. How long did you stay at each step before moving up?

Switching injection sites - worth it?

The 'Wolverine stack' saved my joints. Fixed tendonitis in my elbow and knee that had been killing me for 15 years - nothing else worked. I'd inject 250mcg BPC 6x/week at multiple sites, then TB500 on M/W/F at those same spots. By week 3-4 I felt a huge shift.

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

I recently used one that was past its date in Dec '25. I only realized it after I took it. Didn’t have any issues at all. I double-checked the rest to make sure nothing else was expired. Best of luck!

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

Can you feel any effects? It's not like it turns bad the second it expires. I also used older boxes, and the pharmacist said it should be okay a few months past the date.

10 Week Mounjaro Update - An Average Experience

Week 10 is a real milestone. It's when things start to click instead of feeling like random side effects. That morning energy boost is common on tirzepatide. People think it's just the appetite suppression, but it's likely a metabolic shift and better blood sugar control overnight that helps you...

Half my size! (Ozempic + lifestyle)

found what works for you is huge—food is way different from alcohol because we have to deal with it every day. can't abstain from food. better analogy might be credit cards. some people use them fine, others shouldn't touch them. strategy depends on the person.

    Tirz or Reta to start?

Great! I hope you have a good experience. I also started with a really low dose, which might have helped. I started at 1.25 mg for a couple weeks, then 1.5 mg for a couple weeks, then 2.5mg for a couple weeks. I plan to stay at 2.5 until I stop seeing results.

    GLP-1s making pain vanish?

Yes! I have to wear layers all the time now. I've lost weight before but never felt this chilly. Maybe it's because of less insulation now haha.

    Tirz or Reta to start?

I like Tirz. It's working really well for me. I've lost about 9 pounds so far, and I've only been on it for like a month. I didn't get the nausea that some people talk about, which is great. I'm thinking about adding more peptides later on.

    GLP-1s making pain vanish?

Totally! Part of it's got to be easier on the joints since I've lost weight, but the drop in inflammation has been a game changer for me. I honestly think it'll let some people ditch pain meds eventually. I just wish it wasn't so expensive and that more people had access to it.

    Brain adjusting to new me!

Thanks, everyone for your support! To answer It's been almost exactly a year since I started the meds. I try to work out 3-4 times a week, mostly cardio like walking and swimming, but I also do some light weights. As for supplements, I take a multivitamin and B12 for energy, but nothing too crazy.

    Brain adjusting to new me!

SW: 265lbs (Oct. 2024), CW: 141lbs - 5'5" Soon going into maintenance and still hard to grasp what a difference this year has made. Went to buy some new clothes and I'm a size 6 (started at 22). I don't think I've been a size 6 ever, since when I was like, 11, I was already a size 8/10 and...
