    GLP-1 meds: non-responders?

I started Reta at 2mg. Got up to 7.5 and had to stop because of the bad sides. Didn't lose a single pound. So, not a non-responder exactly, but not working how it should. I sped up the dose increases too fast. I'm off it to let it clear, and back on at 2mg now. Going to follow the study dosing...

    GLP-1 meds: non-responders?

Same thing on the second try. I'm sure that's not the only place that discusses it. 😉

Weight Loss Meds: Working *Too* Well?!

High dose was too high for me, higher risk for that issue. PT one forty one with something else might work better, less locked in and less risky. Some meds like antipsychotics or older antidepressants can be problematic with PT one forty one.

Switching injection sites - worth it?

LLMs told me 5ml reconstitute and 1ml inject equals 1mg but if 0.2-0.25 is the right amount then 1ml seems overkill. Is there a real diff in how much you dilute it?

    Best shapewear recs?

If it's loose skin, shapewear might help smooth things out, but it won't really 'suck' anything in. You might want to look into options for skin tightening if it bothers you that much. But also, congrats on the weight loss! That's HUGE!

    Ozempic + bad food = 💥?

Yep. It delays gastric emptying; what you ate the day before, or even two days before, can still be hanging around and cause issues. I had terrible pain and vomiting a few days after increasing my dose because I tried to eat “normally” while traveling. Never again!

Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

I've also heard that compounded semaglutide is a more affordable option. Might be worth checking out if cost is a concern. I saw the discussion here: https://www.another forum

    Ozempic + bad food = 💥?

Ozempic isn’t a magic bullet. You have to do your part as well.

Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

My doctor prescribed it as .5 mg as well, but with instructions to start at .25 mg for the first four weeks. I think the packaging also mentions that. I cannot imagine beginning at .5 mg. Double check the directions with your doctor. Some don’t give good instructions when prescribing unfortunately.

    Ozempic + bad food = 💥?

Anything you listed there would make a person feel ill. Technically it isn’t a side effect.

Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

I agree, definitely speak with your doctor. The dosage might be too much to begin with. In the meantime, try some electrolyte drinks. Bone broth can be really helpful too!

    Reta on a plane?

I pre-filled my reta into a NovoPen 4 and I'm taking an old Mounjaro box and a prescription from half a year ago. Everything goes in a 3D printed case, then a cooler in my checked luggage. If asked, I say it's my prescribed Mounjaro.
