When did you REALLY feel the effects?

Week two at 4mg is usually the beginning of the suppression window, not the peak of it - most people notice the effect becoming consistent between weeks 3 and 6 as the receptor saturation builds.

    Tirz powder storage Q's

Working with the lyophilized form directly is unnecessary for any standard protocol - reconstitute in the original vial, then transfer to storage vials if you're splitting doses.

Ozempic - How are you getting it?

That's exactly why I'm using a compounding pharmacy even though it's out of pocket. My insurance is likely to stop covering it at some point.

Ozempic - How are you getting it?

My regular doctor wrote the script but the insurance won't cover, so I get it from a compounding pharmacy.

Ozempic - How are you getting it?

I used an online provider. It's convenient because their doctors prescribe it, but it's pricey, like $400 each month. I'm seeking a more affordable compounding facility.

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

I'm with Well-Babe on this one. The mental load and anxiety are way down since starting GLP-1s. If I can stay on it forever, I will.

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

The world's constantly bombarding us with messages to EAT and CONSUME! I feel like Ozempic's the only thing fighting back. They use every trick to make us eat/drink junk; it's not weird to try to defend against that. If they're jealous, it's because they're fighting it too and think you're...

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

I don't broadcast that I'm on Ozempic. People are too quick to judge. My health choices aren't up for discussion.

    Finally feeling normal around food!

I agree with MedSet762. Some people feel it right away, but for me, it took a few weeks and a dose increase before I really noticed a difference.

    Reta making my heart skip?

Hey everyone, hoping someone can chime in with some advice. I transitioned from a different GLP-1 to Reta, slowly increasing the dose. I started noticing effects around 13 units, but still had some food cravings. I've since added another med at 20 units over about a month and a half, and the...

    Finally feeling normal around food!

I totally get that! It's wild. Like, I have snacks in the house that I literally forget exist. Used to be, I'd be lying in bed at night obsessing about potato chips. Now? Nothing. I even bought a cake a couple weeks ago, ate a sliver every day or so, and then just...threw the rest away. Insane!
