    GLP-1 for life, ya'll?

I gotta take thyroid pills forever. It's honestly no biggie. And I can't eat gluten ever again. Still feeling pretty fortunate overall. So, a little injection is nbd, lol.

Down 30lbs, but no one notices!

Just remember to keep it slow and steady! Rapid weight loss can cause other issues. Aim for under 2 pounds a week for best results!

Down 30lbs, but no one notices!

It took about four months and a loss of 20 pounds before anyone said anything about my weight loss journey, but now at 8 months and about 40 pounds down, I'm getting comments left and right. Think of it like a roll of paper towels. Taking off a few sheets when it's full isn't noticeable, but...

    Down 55 lbs!

Been on it for 2 years. Started at nearly 230 (5'6"). Got to 176 in the first year. Only lost 18 pounds in year 2 (switched to tirz halfway through), but those pounds made a huge difference. Now at 158.

    Free GLP-1s under Medicare?

I've heard some people are using research chemicals because they can't afford the brand names. Be careful with that stuff; quality control is a big issue. It might be legal for 'research,' but not for personal use.

    Free GLP-1s under Medicare?

I actually think it has a decent chance of passing because there are probably a lot of politicians using them too. Remember how fast Viagra got approved? Lots of 'needs' in Congress, lol.

    Free GLP-1s under Medicare?

Sounds like the current administration is trying to make things difficult for the next one before they leave.

    Tirz/Sema mix - good idea?

Just be mindful if you are on hydrochlorothiazide for blood pressure. There's a moderate interaction to watch out for. It can mess with your glucose levels, so keep an eye on that.

    Tirz/Sema mix - good idea?

From a pharmacological perspective, combining tirzepatide and semaglutide could potentially lead to enhanced glucose control and weight loss due to their synergistic mechanisms of action - both stimulate GLP-1 receptors, but tirzepatide also acts on GIP receptors. However, individual responses...

    Passing the Torch!

That's really important. Access to reliable health info shouldn't depend on where you live. I hope the new mods keep that in mind.

    One year on GLP-1s!

Thanks for sharing! That really helps. It seems like Tirz is definitely more potent than sema. I'm hoping for similar results!

    Passing the Torch!

You've maintained an interesting, intelligent, supportive, inclusive, informative, and safe space here on Reddit. You should be proud. This has been really important for me. I learned which supplements to get to manage side effects, what to expect symptom-wise, and found a lot of encouragement...

    One year on GLP-1s!

That's an amazing change, wow! I'm approved for Zepbound but waiting until after shoulder surgery to start. You're getting me excited! I only lost about 45 pounds on semaglutide over 16 months. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you lose on semaglutide versus Tirzepatide, and over what...

    Passing the Torch!

Thanks! This has been the best online community I've found. Compared to the negativity on the other peptide forums, there's no comparison. Hoping the positive atmosphere continues! 😅

    GLP-1s: Worth the Hype?

Interesting article. Just a reminder to be careful with sourcing, especially if something seems too good to be true. https://jezebel.com/people-are-buying-raw-chemicals-to-concoct-diy-ozempic-at-home-1850922598
