    New to GLP-1s! Feeling optimistic!

Starting Rybelsus with a family activity goal and a clinical background is a clear motivator for staying consistent.

    GLP-1 Insurance Woes in '26?

Coverage for weight management is the common wall - most plans require T2D diagnosis, prior auth, or step therapy before they'll approve it.

    Finally feeling normal around food!

PCOS-driven appetite is one of the mechanisms GLP-1 addresses directly. Feeling satisfied and indifferent to food is the result, not just the goal.

    Workout routines on GLP-1s?

I went from hitting the gym 4x a week doing strength training, to a hybrid routine now. It's a personal journey because I got into endurance sports from peer pressure, but I'm not giving up my strength days. Still do that 3x a week and the staples are deadlifts, bench, and squats. Everything...

Wow, 40 pounds is awesome. I just updated my driver's license after a similar amount of weight loss, its night and day!

Slow & Steady Wins the Race!

I'm also losing slowly - I've been on this since October of '24 and am down 40 pounds (248 to 207 now). I was annoyed at first, but I'm glad it's been gradual so my body can keep up.

    Low dose maintenance? Anyone else?

Wow, that's kinda scary Reta_King363. Thanks for the heads up!

    Low dose maintenance? Anyone else?

Been using it since last summer. Highest dose was .5. Now I'm maintaining at .4 and trying to go even lower.

    Appetite back on higher dose?

I've been taking Semaglutide since spring of 2024. I had similar changes at different doses as I worked my way up to the highest dose. My hunger and thoughts about food went up with one increase and then down with the next. At the highest dose, things evened out.

    GHK-Cu soreness - any tricks?

Just FYI: GHK-Cu is happiest between pH 4.5 and 7.4. Too low (acidic) or too high (basic) and the peptide falls apart from the copper. It's okay in water for awhile in that range, but too much of the extremes could be an issue.

    Mixing peps: bad idea?

Didn't want everything in a blend, so I mix KPV and BPC-157. I call it magic juice.

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

That's a good point, BurnPizza. I guess I'm mostly frustrated that I'm not even seeing that initial drop. Maybe my expectations are too high.

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

You're getting so many different responses because everyone's body reacts differently to this medication. Some folks (maybe 15%) can lose weight long-term at just 0.25mg – they're "super responders". Another 15% are "non-responders" who lose very little or nothing at all. Then there's the group...

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

Okay, gotta vent. Been on this journey for 3 months, about to hit month 4. Started at 0.25mg, now at 1mg. I'm at 230lbs, and my goal is 165lbs. Before starting this, my cravings were wild. A whole chocolate bar gone in minutes, multiple times a week, with no satisfaction. Now, a single bar lasts...

Mice getting all the good stuff?

I'm also curious if there are other peptides that might be similar to sermorelin?

Mice getting all the good stuff?

Has anyone experienced bad acne from taking sermorelin? I started about a month ago and my acne has been awful the last couple weeks. My doc was unhelpful. I'm thinking of stopping it completely. Ugh.

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

I had pretty bad skin sensitivity and tingling for the first 8 weeks. By 10 weeks, it was way better, almost gone. Then I took a 3 week break for a trip abroad. When I started back up, it never came back! Hopefully, it's gone for good, but it's only been a couple weeks.
