Food noise, hunger & GLP-1 reality

Non-diabetics typically see food noise settle around weeks 4-8 - dose matters but 0.5mg is often where it starts, and the transition is gradual rather than a switch that flips.

What to eat (and avoid) on GLP-1s

The gastric emptying slowdown means small, frequent portions prevent the nausea that comes from overfull or empty stomach. Protein-dense, low-fat options tolerate the slowest transit best. Highly processed and fatty foods land hardest - the tolerance issue is predictable and consistent enough to...

What do you eat on the tough days?

The distinction between genuine hunger and the habitual eating cue is one of the harder things to calibrate when the medication is still at a lower dose - at 1mg the appetite suppression isn't always consistent, and forcing down food in response to a clock-driven thought rather than an actual...

    Semaglutide online scripts?

Thanks! I'm really hoping it goes well for me too. It's good to hear about services that people like.

    Ozempic + bad food = 💥?

Probably payback! Unless other people you were with had the same problem, it was probably the food.

    Semaglutide online scripts?

I tried one service earlier this year, stopped for a bit, and just restarted with another one last week.

    Ozempic + bad food = 💥?

I sometimes get those side effects even when I eat healthy, but fried foods, alcohol, and heavy carbs make it so much worse. If you're gonna eat any of those foods, do it the day before your shot. Eating some protein beforehand can help too.

    Semaglutide online scripts?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to get serious about losing weight, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I don't currently have a PCP, and the idea of finding one and going in for appointments is daunting. Has anyone had success getting prescriptions online? Do you recommend any specific doctors or...

Down 70+ lbs, still feels unreal!

I've been taking 1 mg weekly for a while. Even though I still see the same me in the mirror, comparing photos is wild. My joints aren't screaming all the time, and I can walk way longer distances. Didn't get how much strain the extra weight placed on everything. It just became normal, I guess.

    Food noise creepin' back!

I used to love coffee but not so much anymore. I've switched to tea, and the only one I really enjoy is raspberry and cranberry.

    Food noise creepin' back!

It happens every now and then. I wouldn't increase the dose just yet. There are lots of other things to consider. Protein like StallsRUs mentioned, and staying hydrated. A lot of people don't drink enough water. If I don't drink at least 60-80oz of water a day, the hunger comes back. Your body...
