    Face Gains! Remember the journey

You have such a beautiful face shape. Your eyes really stand out! I have a similar story (weight gain after my kids and some trauma, very active, but my weight won't budge). I'm about a month and a half into using Mounjaro and I'm excited to have "bigger" eyes someday. :D

Down 87lbs - Still got 15 to go!

Curious about HGH outcomes. Never tried it but been thinking. Still have a tesofensine kit sitting around that I should start first.

    Feeling myself these days!

It's really amazing how much a relatively small weight loss can do for your confidence. Someone on another thread said they're down 53lbs in 9 months and are feeling so much better about themself. I'm happy for them!

    Insurance coverage for GLP-1s explained

This is one of the clearest breakdowns I have seen here. This right here is the core issue in my opinion. I work in benefits consulting and churn is real. Plans think in 1–3 year windows, not decades. Prevention math does not always help the payer who is holding the bill now. One thing I...

    Almost to goal weight!

I've been on a low dose for over four months, and it's working great. My doc is happy to keep me there as long as I'm still seeing progress. Nice to see doctors not automatically bumping up the dose!

Down a Stone, Up a Level!

I saw a dude on another board lost almost 200 lbs. He said the best thing he did was start lifting weights right away. Apparently these meds can eat away at your muscle mass so getting a head start is key.

    GLP-1 meds - Help a newbie out?

The side effects were worse when I went up to a new dose. Eating better and having more fiber helped. If I ate junk food, I got heartburn and gross burps. Rennie helped with heartburn, but the burps were stubborn. They only went away after a week or two.

    GLP-1 meds - Help a newbie out?

Good point. Unless you go above the max of 2.4 mg per week, you only need 90mg for the first year according to the dosing schedule. For the first 3 months, you only need 7 mg total. 0.25 the first month, 0.5 the second, and 1 mg the third. You can buy a little bit to start to save money

    GLP-1 meds - Help a newbie out?

I think I saw something that some companies will even call insurance for you. As for nausea, sema seems to cause it more than tirz does. My pharmacist told me people should start with tirz for the better weight loss. A lot of doctors feel the same way.

    GLP-1 meds - Help a newbie out?

Even paying $500 every 3 months saved me a lot of money as compared to buying healthy foods to snack on all day. Of course I've moved on from compounding now since I found better options, but it was a perfect way how to get started.

    GLP-1 meds - Help a newbie out?

If my insurance covered any of it I wouldn't be here either lol. I've been getting mine from a compounding place, its about $500 for 3 months of tirz.

Help with Sema Dosage - Am I Doing This Right?

That rebound hunger is rough! It sounds like your body is telling you it needs that higher dose. The good thing is you're aware of it and can adjust accordingly with your doctor's guidance.
