Switching meds - Reta + Tirz?

Stacking both would be redundant since they use the same receptors. You'd just get amplified side effects without any real advantage. Run Tirz up through the dose ladder first and see how you actually respond before even considering switching or mixing.

    Mazdutide approved in China!

If you ever tried fixing one of those junky things, you'd know the answer is absolutely yes. I've probably got 5 or 6 pounds of car permanently stuck in me at this point.

I once had a Mazda years ago. I don't recommend it.

Sema progress - 3 months in!

Hi Blair03 and big-mood -- I started at 0.25 for four weeks, then 0.5 for four weeks, and now I'm on 1.0. I'm going to stay here for a bit, as I'm still seeing results. As for diet, I try to focus on protein and veggies. I do feel like salty foods make me retain water. I try to walk 30 minutes a...

Next week marks 13 weeks since I started on semaglutide. Initial weight: 211 lbs. Current weight: 182 lbs. Goal weight: 155 lbs. I've shed about 29 pounds in almost 3 months! Feeling MUCH better now. I can finally squeeze into my old jeans! It has been ages since I felt good in denim.

    GLP-1 costs got you down?

I've started telling people it's for my diabetes. Shuts them up real quick.

    GLP-1 costs got you down?

I disagree with the sentiments expressed prior. I believe these opinions are uncalled for and harmful.

    GLP-1 costs got you down?

Can we try to keep the political stuff out of this group? It's supposed to be about health.

    Tirz... Stuck. Help me decide!

I always remind my patients getting on GLP-1s to hydrate much more than usual. The gut slowing down plus less food intake can really impact bowel movements. Stool softeners are helpful, and I've also had some patients find relief with magnesium supplements.

    Tirz... Stuck. Help me decide!

When I began, I used the usual 2.5mg, then moved to 5mg, then 7.5mg, and then back down to 5mg. The 7.5mg gave me several side effects – couldn't eat, nausea, no sleep, and always tired. So, I went back to 5mg.

That's an inspiring transformation! Would you be okay if I shared this on another forum dedicated to before/after journeys with similar meds? Or you can post it yourself!
