    Life changing! Down 6 stone!

Six days on mt2 at low doses. A week later, moles on my face got way darker and really visible (nose especially). Healing acne scars darkened too. Didn't expect that. Stopped immediately. Anyone know if this fades or if it's permanent?

Hunger creeping back after day 5?

Month in on Mounjaro and doing fine - cravings are manageable. But hormones are a thing, and some days I want to demolish a pile of chocolate. Problem is after one piece I'm stuffed, and honestly chocolate doesn't even appeal anymore. Nice but also kind of sucks simultaneously lol.

    Down sizes! 6 months progress.

I can see your confidence shining through! Love the blue and your hair. I understand about the knees - even small amounts of activity can make a difference!

    Partners in Health!

Agreed completely. Don't touch growth hormone secretagogues without baseline IGF-1 and follow-up labs. A lot of people respond way lower than 2 mg a day. Even 500-750 mcg daily tanked my HRV and sleep.

    Reta order taking forever?

if you're grabbing from chinese vendors, no worse issues than normal. there's a whole thread comparing what you actually get versus 'real' stuff, plus shipping headaches if you're curious.

Ever get a shady batch of pep?

shelf life and safe are two different things. shelf life is probably way longer than when it's actually safe from bacteria. most peps are stable but 28 days is standard. i try for 8-9 weeks with bac water and filtering, though i'll admit i push it sometimes. some people go three months. decide...

2 month update - feeling down

I read an interesting comment recently. People who criticize these medications often have a limited understanding of nutrition and weight management. They push restrictive diets or intense exercise regimens, which aren't sustainable for everyone. These drugs can be a tool, not a crutch, to...

2 month update - feeling down

Everything needs context, right? A lot of people losing more are being super restrictive, or maybe they started at a higher weight! Any weight loss is progress and you're doing great. Keep track of those non-scale victories, those are more important than any number. I recently flew and didn't...

    Sketchy BAC supplier?

Endotoxin testing usually shows off-brand and Chinese BAC are sketchy. Even the Amazon BAC tested dirty before they banned it. Hospira literally says on the label it's sterile and non-pyrogenic.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

I agree with Dakota_1992, those systems can really cement the lifestyle changes. I'm not as regimented, but I do prioritize protein at every meal, and I track my protein, fiber, water, and the GLP-1 shot in my app to look for trends.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Agree... But dark chocolate is bad. I don't know where they get these stats. 17% more chocolate intake for GLP users? I disagree - I am eating less chocolate than before.

    Best place for bac water?

I keep my BAC in the fridge even though the insert says room temp. No serious warning against it, just a recommendation. It's not like Pfizer wants it to last forever - they want less legal risk. Do what feels right to you. And yeah there's like 5 active threads on this stuff which is wild.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

That's not my experience. I don't want sweets much, and I can't stand soda now. I have a farm stand, so I bake all the time. Great recipes, all homemade, you name it. I don't even lick the spoon anymore.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Dark chocolate, more than 70% cocoa, in small amounts like 25 grams is alright, and it isn't addictive to me. Lindt is too pricey at $6 USD for 3.5oz. I don't understand how people on GLP-1s can eat more chocolate than when they were binging multiple blocks a week, like before.

    Another goal weight adjustment!

Just wanted to add that a high-fiber, high-protein diet is a HUGE part of curbing those sugar cravings. Keep up the excellent work, everyone!

Just started Wegovy - feeling queasy!

That's a great question! Some people can stay on a lower dose for an extended period if it's effective and they're not experiencing significant side effects. Talk to your doctor; they can assess your individual response and determine the best course of action for you. Don't feel pressured to...

Just started Wegovy - feeling queasy!

Just a reminder that everyone responds differently to these medications. Some people feel great at lower doses, while others need higher doses to get the desired effect. It's important to work with your doctor to find the right dosage for you and manage any side effects.
