I'm so happy seeing you feel more confident, FL_Sunshine_77! I've been on a similar journey, and just being able to fit into my medium-sized pants again felt like a huge win. I even treated myself to a new top, even if it's a bit snug. It feels amazing!
Wowza! Almost 50 lbs in only 3 months? That's amazing! You definitely responded well to the meds. Congrats on the early bday present!! 🎁 The world better watch out! 😉
I love that you almost smiled in the second photo. 😄 That's a good start!
A long time ago, a friend was T-boned by a landscaping truck at a red light. It majorly messed up his summer and his ability to drive for months, but the phrase "It's like getting hit by a truck" was an understatement.
It's similar to when someone dies in a car wreck, and blood tests reveal alcohol or drug use. Everyone automatically assumes that was the primary factor, disregarding the possibility that the person was rear-ended at a stoplight by a semi-truck.
Hey Pulse-Pal, I didn't do anything drastic to lose. I think the med really helped me control my portions and snacking. I try to walk most days, but nothing crazy. Good luck!
Hey everyone! I started on a GLP-1 med back in January when I turned the big 3-3. Didn't really have a specific goal weight, but I went from 327 lbs on January 4th to 247 lbs today! I feel so much better in my own skin. I'm 5'10", and I've struggled with my weight since I was a kid. This...
I'm in the same boat with a bunch of stuff. Been diagnosed with hEDS, pots, and I'm HLA B27 positive which comes with a ton of pain. My rheumatologist wouldn't look into testing so I'm doing my own digging. Not all the answers yet but things are improving.
I'm only on week two, low dose, but so far so good. You're right, we need more posts like this. I read everything I could find before starting, and it was all about horrible side effects. I was really scared to start because of that.
I'm so jealous! I've always had proportionally bigger arms than the rest of me, no matter what weight I was. Been thinking of trying this. Did you notice any change like that?
