They just don't get it, do they?

I have been lifting! I need to get enough protein but I'm struggling with that at the moment. I'm on Mounjaro and really enjoying strength training. Any tips would be appreciated!

They just don't get it, do they?

People can't understand situations they've never been in. And yeah, they're judgmental. It's not a willpower thing, she's just ignorant. I'm ok with being on MJ forever because my body wasn't built for this modern lifestyle.

They just don't get it, do they?

This medication has proven to me that the idea of willpower being the key to weight loss is a scam. It just shuts off the cravings. Fighting hormones is a lost cause.

    Down 100lbs, still going strong!

Hit my goal at 10mg in one year—lost 50 lbs, waist went from 38 to 34 inches. A1C is 5.4, all labs look good. But I've lost muscle and I'm borderline anemic now. Wife wants me on maintenance. What's the best way to step down? Should I go back to 7.5?

2 years on MJ: My story!

Heard something similar on a podcast too—that weekly dosing lets your body reset the receptors, helps the dose work better longer. Makes sense to me. Anyone else notice a real difference between weekly shots versus dosing every few days?

    Done already?

Got prescribed for my A1c climbing toward diabetes last September. Three months in, dropped from 8.3 to 5.6—normal. Lost weight too, down from 272 to 235. BP went from 148/86 to 110/60. See your doctor about it—insurance covers most of mine since it's for diabetes, not just weight.

    ACE-167 + FOXO4 + Kisspeptin + Testagen stack?

I used to start thinking about dinner before I finished breakfast, or imagining ice cream while eating my actual meal. This med really quieted that down a lot.

Down 56lbs since late spring '25!

ss-31 runs without a pause. i do quarterly cycles: 5mg daily for 20 days, add 2.5mg of the other peptide the last 5 days, then 2 days off and continue the other 5mg 3x week. lower dose upfront stops the shock.

    Melt fat from my cankles??

I'm with Sub-Q_Sammy. The confidence is amazing. My doc always reminds me it's not just the pounds, but how you FEEL every day.

    Melt fat from my cankles??

Yes! My calves went from 18 inches in Sept '24 to 15 inches in March of '26. But it's not just the meds. I started strength training in Sept '24, slowly increasing intensity. Now I lift weights almost daily and added barre, HIIT, and kickboxing. My legs look amazing, including my calves.

    AS Help: Any Pep Recs?

Hey FitFam, I've heard good things about Ipamorelin and CJC1295 combos. Anyone tried that? I saw one online for a decent price.

    Face slimming first, anyone?

I'm losing it everywhere *except* my face, and that's the main reason I started this stuff! I don't care about the rest of my body. I guess we need to be patient lol

    AS Help: Any Pep Recs?

Hey, fellow AS warrior here! I use a combo of Tirz/reta for dropping pounds and some anti-inflammatory effects, plus Klow, Glutathione, small doses of HGH, and a low-starch diet. Somewhere in all that, I've found almost complete relief from flare-ups and ongoing aches. One thing I'm avoiding if...

    Face slimming first, anyone?

16 lbs is a lot! It's not all coming from your face. Just give your body some time to adjust.

That's a great idea! I'm going to try that.
