Dropped my Tirz... Am I screwed?

Been on HRT for over two years and nothing moved till I added tirzepatide. Lifting twice a week, 3-4 mile walks, counting calories and macros—nothing worked. HRT fixed the sleep and hot flashes but not weight. Tirz solved it. Any woman who can do HRT should look at GLP-1 too.

confused about tesamorelin dosing. clinical trials used 2mg daily but the fda-approved version is 1.4mg. why the gap? other gh secretagogues don't always work better at higher doses either. anyone know why fda went lower?

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

I've heard of people doing microdoses to manage side effects when they first start, or even titrating down. It might be worth exploring if you're concerned about jumping back to a higher dose too quickly.

    Tirz Setup: Last-Minute Check

To Sema-Siren's question about batch reconning, freezing, and filtering later: I wouldn't recommend it. It's just adding an extra step where something could go wrong. Better to filter fresh.

Also, if you're experiencing any skin reactions like hives or rashes, it's crucial to monitor those closely and report them to your doctor promptly. Allergic reactions can sometimes occur with these types of medications.

    Ugh, The Constipation Struggle

I try to keep my fiber intake consistent with chia pudding, oats, veggies, fruits like prunes and pears, and whole-grain bread. I use Meagain to track my food and see if there are any culprits and if I'm getting enough fiber. Other things that help me: * Water (not just coffee) * Short walks...

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

If it's been in the fridge the whole time, you should be okay. The expiry dates are usually cautious. The bigger problem is the dosing mix-up. Don't take another shot to compensate – just stick to your normal schedule next week. Being a little under-dosed for a week is better than side effects...

    GLP-1 and weekly head pounders?

It's not only about water or eating well, it's often about electrolytes. You could drink 64oz of water but still need electrolytes. I was getting awful headaches even when I was drinking tons of water. I started using electrolyte powder, and the headaches stopped. The directions say to use 16oz...

    Expired GLP-1...eek!

First thing: toss those expired pens if they worry you. But honestly, you did this backwards! Always use the older pens first. If you're moving from 7.5mg to 10mg, finish the 7.5mg pens before starting the 10mg.

    Tirz Setup: Last-Minute Check

I don't remove the filter from the needle once it's in the vial/cartridge. I assume any needle that's been taken out is contaminated. So yep, single-use only. I prime the filter with a separate syringe before filtering. For a starting dose of 2.5mg, I'd mix to 1mg per 10 units, or 2mg per 10...

    Can't get .5 on the 1mg pen?

Also, what if you happen to find an older pen in the fridge from a previous dosage? Is it okay to use an expired pen?

    Can't get .5 on the 1mg pen?

Confirming: 36 clicks for a 0.5 dose. Want .75? That's 54 clicks on the pen.

    GLP-1: Long term commitment?

Funny, I was just talking about this with my Botox injector. I'm one of those folks who are always close to goal, yoyo-ing, with an extra 15 lbs. I eat a mostly clean diet, but I always gain it back after sema; never more than I started with, though. I'm losing with Reta now and she recommended...

    Faceplanting at 45 - grateful!

    GLP-1: Long term commitment?

You can do both, Riley2008: tell them it works well, and also tell them the risks of stopping, no matter how much they want to lose.

    GLP-1: Long term commitment?

Since the data is so clear on weight regain, people should just plan to stay on them indefinitely. It's like trying to use some other experimental drug to maintain the loss – doesn't seem smart. People don't expect to stop taking statins once their cholesterol improves, so why the fuss about GLP-1s?
