Start with sleep discipline before anything else. Same bedtime, same wake time, shut down an hour before. Meditation actually works (sounds dumb but it does). You're still young—most of this is fixable without extra stuff if you put the work in.
everyone responds differently - some feel it at lower doses, others need to go up a few times. stick to the schedule to be kind to your gut and you'll feel it within a couple months. start working on lifestyle stuff now so you're ready when it kicks in.
check out r/mounjaromaintenance and r/glpgrad for some stories. this med really proves it's not all willpower—some people have actual metabolic issues it's correcting. might not be able to maintain without it long-term. kind of like asking someone with bad vision to see without glasses.

I've never seen a China batch go bad before opening. Saline has the same failure rate as US eye drops. Hosperia is the best. The glass vials are nice too — I reuse them for travel pill kits. Batches are tested; the links are solid if you want to verify.
Lost 30.7kg in 6 months on mounjaro 2.5mg alone. Zero side effects. Food noise completely gone—such freedom. Eating 1600-1900 cal/day, jogging 3x weekly, strength training, regular walks. Goal's 90kg but still got ways to go.
Don't really think about staying on this for life. Of course I will - same as statins. The time I save not worrying about it goes straight into other stuff.
I totally agree about the lifestyle changes. It's not just about the weight loss, it's about changing your relationship with food. I don't crave junk anymore. I am making healthier choices all around. It's a gradual downward slope and I love it!!
Good for you prioritizing your mental health, Mia_02!
If the weight comes back, you could try MJ again, maybe at a low dose. Some people get benefits from as low as 1mg per week, and the side effects are often milder the second time around.
Thank you for posting this! I'm just starting month 2 and it's a real struggle to eat! I've been eating homemade protein oatmeal (or "proatmeal") and eggs. Strangely, I find that some vegetables are easier to eat than others. I'm currently finding success with steamed spinach and roasted sweet...
I agree. Sometimes it feels like doctors push these meds without really explaining things. My doctor put me on sema because I was "right on the line weight wise" - whatever that means!
I totally agree with your point that just saying "eat protein" is not helpful, especially when you don't have the energy to test out different meals (or when finding a good meal feels like a chore, which is my usual problem)! I also struggle with hot meals when I'm feeling sick, so here are some...
I actually use a different app called Happy Scale. It shows a smooth average instead of all the daily ups and downs, which is great for me 'cause my weight fluctuates a lot.
