    My 2023 vs. Now!

I was prediabetic for three years, even while running a fair amount. After 90 days on MJ my blood panel showed 5.5, woohoo. I'm 20 lbs down with 20-25 to go, and it's less about the number than about feeling good and how my clothes fit. I eat better and less now, but haven't sorted out exercise...

When did you REALLY feel the effects?

Hey! I'm 4 days past my second 2.5mg shot and I honestly don't feel much. Zero nausea, vomiting or digestion trouble, and my hunger is normal. I haven't had the obvious appetite drop some people talk about. I do think I'm eating a bit less than usual, which I also felt in week one, but it's...

    NAD+ or Semax for focus?

I've run both at once, each in its own vial, intranasal. Usually Semax 500mg before work plus a second 500mg some days at lunch, then 500mg Selank once home to wind down. Some people mix everything into one blend in the morning. Semax felt subtle to me and I didn't get much from it, though I've...

Does a break really reset how the medication works?

You said the side effects were extreme and now they are gone. Six months of tiny increments is a slow ramp, so maybe 3 mg just isn't high enough yet for you and the next step is what you need. That is a question for your prescriber though.

Sema Side Effects - Any Way to Dodge Them?

Take it! The risks and side effects of alcoholism are way worse than semaglutide's. In my case, side effects lasted only a couple days after each shot early on, and again when I went up in dose. Now I'm on 2.4mg with no issues besides occasional constipation when I skimp on water. I had a baby...

    SLU-PP-332 reconstitution woes!

I've reconstituted plenty of vials without trouble by using DMSO first and bac water after, with hospira as my only diluent to avoid issues. Add 0.5ml DMSO very gradually, one drop after another, and let the powder dissolve completely. Then slowly pour in 2ml bac while gently swirling the vial...

    Lost weight TOO fast?

Maybe drop back down and take less, whatever feels right for you. If eating is impossible, reduce the dose. The official schedule isn't a rule, and your sweet spot could be 3mg, or 2.5mg about every 5 days, or something like that. Take your time to find it and don't give up yet.

    Done with Mounjaro... for now!

Same here, but I definitely wasn't getting enough protein. I'm off Mounjaro now because of insurance and 20 of the 50 pounds I lost came back. I'm changing how I eat, plenty of fruit and veg, more protein, nothing processed, and now I need an apple every day lol.

Doc said Ozempic made me look older 😭

I'm 45 and 55 lbs down, and I do look a bit older than before. My upper lids seem to sag very slightly and the bags under my eyes show up worse than they did while I was heavier. Some relatives have equally bad bags and were never fat, and my thin grandmother once had her upper lids fixed since...

    GLP-1 kicking my butt...

Running 7.5mg now, but issues started right from the beginning at 2.5mg. Nausea, constipation, dizziness, severe exhaustion. Dropped weight way faster than intended, roughly two pounds weekly, purely because I can barely force food down while nauseated. Officially prescribed for type 2 diabetes...

    AHK-Cu injectible, anyone tried?

Following this too! Stressing over thinning hair myself, which ironically stresses my hair out even more, lol!! Have topical AHK-CU on hand and waiting on a cosmetic-grade GHK-CU order. Saw a protocol elsewhere suggesting roughly 0.3g AHK-CU mixed with 1.8g topical GHK-CU into 30ml of hyaluronic...

    Stopping Reta.. mood issues?

Speaking from my own limited experience, shedding pounds on the fifth compound happens fast. Once I hit my target weight, I plan to maintain it solo, without this or any other peptide, giving my body a real break. Don't want my system getting too dependent on the product. But the moment I start...

How do you guys hit protein goals on GLP-1?

Yep, definitely lost noticeable strength and stamina during my time on Ozempic. My top piece of advice is to lean hard into protein intake and keep strength training as consistently as you can manage.

My slow & steady GLP-1 journey

Down 40 percent from my starting weight. At goal now. Lost around half a pound weekly. Took a full year. Still losing, just very slowly. On it for type 2. Great that you're walking and lifting, really helps build muscle.

    Little to no side effects?

If the side effects get to be too much, you can always drop the dose a bit, nothing to be scared of there. Honestly this has been the easiest weight loss method I've ever come across. Even quieted down my urge to drink.

    Down eleven notches!

Fantastic!! Congrats on all that hard work paying off! Your progress is genuinely inspiring, still dealing with a hanging belly myself and it honestly feels like it's never going anywhere.

    My GLP-1 journey

That's genuinely amazing, congrats!! Totally relate to that shoe-tying breath-holding thing. Keep it going, fit's clearly right around the corner. Honestly the thing that worries me a bit is losing weight too quickly and ending up with loose skin.

How long 'til I can party again?

Yep, quit drinking before starting sema, had exactly one vodka mixed into a big glass of fizzy water and it left me unbelievably nauseous. Safe to say cutting alcohol entirely is the way to go.

First month on Zepbound - my thoughts

I get it, that's rough. Started at 263 myself and didn't see or feel anything working until I hit 7.5mg. Patience, it'll click eventually, trust the process. My rule was a month, two max, and if nothing changed by then I'd bump the dose. Sitting at a low amount long-term works great for some...

    One year down! Woo!

Man, this is genuinely helpful, wouldn't have thought to keep a journal without seeing this. Really appreciate it. And huge congrats on the incredible milestone!
