    GLP-1 Meal Ideas?

Read 'Weightless' by Dr. Salas-Whalen. She recommends 100g protein per day, max 30g per meal, 2-3x strength training weekly. eat protein first on your plate, use shakes if hungry's low, space meals 3-4 hours apart.

not medical, but the biochemistry makes sense—some peptides need other stuff present to work. i'm not a pro but the sources i trust usually get it right. learned to rotate injection sites to fat areas after initial pain issues.

Slow weight loss on sema a worry?

I know it's easy to get caught up in the numbers, but remember why you're doing this. Focusing on healthy habits and how you feel is way more important than just hitting a specific number on the scale.

That's interesting. Body dysmorphia is wild! It sounds like this drug is helping a lot of us though.

Are you eating less? The medication doesn't magically make you lose weight. You need to reduce your food intake. Tracking calories can be helpful.

Sema or Tirz: Which to try first?

To Frankie_28: Everyone's different. I didn't have any nausea on sema, but the diarrhea was persistent. I'm hoping tirzepatide is better in that regard if I switch back.

    GLP-1s kill cravings?

I think it is important to remember that these meds can be hard emotionally. It's so easy to miss emotionally eating, at least for me, and now I can't! It's a real process.

Sema or Tirz: Which to try first?

I used tirzepatide for about 2.5 months last year and lost around 15 pounds. It was amazing. My mood improved, I had tons of energy, and even some long-term pain I had was greatly reduced. No bad side effects at all. But it's really pricey 😭 I've kept the weight off since then, and I started...

    Anyone else feeling... different?

The medication has significantly improved my A1C and vision, and it's stopped me from overeating. I can stop when I'm full and easily fast for 15-17 hours. I've dropped about 50 lbs since July. About 75 more to go.

    GLP-1s kill cravings?

On 2.5, my favorite bourbon tasted… off. And I couldn’t get a buzz. Wine, on the other hand, still tastes almost the same. I’ve managed to cut out nightly bourbon, but I still have wine. It’s definitely cut back on my alcohol consumption. I haven’t gotten properly drunk or even tipsy since...

    GLP-1s kill cravings?

Absolutely. It dials down the desire for many things: sugary treats, greasy foods, processed snacks, booze… even soda for me, which I was definitely hooked on.

Reta Prep Check - Am I Ready?

I'm not sure where you got some of this information, CoffeeChugger, but some of it is questionable, and some is just incorrect. Storing for longer than 4 weeks is a personal choice based on your tolerance for risk. Everyone should start with a 29G needle, as the difference is negligible. I...

If you're looking to avoid condescending and elitist comments, you might be in the wrong place, especially when asking for vendor recommendations. Just an observation.
