Just started Wegovy - feeling queasy!

Six months of Wegovy left me vomiting, unable to eat, and eventually hospitalized. I told my doctor I'd stop. At the time I was at 1.7mg and the next shot was going to be the maximum 2.4mg. She made me sit out 30 days so it could clear, plus about two weeks waiting for Mounjaro approval. I began...

    Electrolyte drink mix faves?

Me! Lately I discovered sugar-free electrolyte drinks (tough to find where I live). I could have mixed my own, but I'm lazy lol. Days ago I began diluting them heavily, and it helped somewhat. I take in plenty of other liquids, so electrolytes were probably lacking.

    Seatbelt success!

Amazing how a plain seatbelt can be such a thrill! Flights are when I savor that click. Congrats, well done!

    KPV - Anyone tried it?

Both BPC and TB500 act systemically, so you don't have to poke near the sore spot, imagine jabbing a foot, ouch. Try GHK-Cu plus KPV as separate items, the blend only makes sense if cost isn't a concern. That pair gets you moving again.

Just got my sema, now what?

Count the newbie mistakes, haha. I believed my research was thorough, with tidy notes, and I felt confident. Hours went into calculators translating vial contents into doses (a 5mg vial, and somehow I need 0.25mg out of it???). After dithering for around a month I placed my first supply order...

Three months in on GHK-CU - skin and hair looking healthier

Oooh, GHK-Cu gave me wonderful skin results! Breakouts and dark marks since my teens, and I also have a compulsive picking disorder, which makes everything worse. (Tirz surprised me by helping my skin too, calming inflammation and obsessive picking and steering me to better food, running since...

    Sema progress - 25lbs gone!

ramen-titrating My apo-sema start was July 22, so the four 0.25mg injections are behind me and I'm in week one at 0.5mg. Likely a super responder: the first shot registered, loss started at once, sweets lost their appeal (no idea when I last had chocolate), and food noise is basically muted. I...

    Clothing store recs?

Congrats, good job! Outside special events I'd buy sale stuff, thrift shops or yard sales. Nice things get costly if they stop fitting because you keep losing. Good luck continuing your success.

    Tirz... Stuck. Help me decide!

I've seen people inject full doses every five to seven days. From roughly 5mg I switched to a 6 day gap, and with plenty of stock, nothing holds me back! Six days works best, since tirz's half life means no huge hunger jump on day 7, and levels stay steadier. I'm a total believer! Perhaps add...

    Lost 80! Life after GLP-1s?

Whether you need the drug long term depends on how bad the starting problem is. BMI 40+ with a lifelong fight? Realistically stay on it. Younger and only a bit heavy? Much less crucial. Obesity seems to harm the body and the weight and appetite control system, and years at normal weight might...

    Jeans Size Down, Woot!

Shopping for jeans today after dropping 30 pounds since February (185 to 155), because an in-person work meeting is coming up, I'm remote otherwise. Fourteen was my old size. I picked up 12s first and left with 8s!!!! Total shock.

    First week, feelin' nothin'?

Days one to three my food noise dipped, but the fourth brought cravings, extra eating and sugar. First week on 0.25mg here.

Sleeping well but waking up once a night...

How many weeks did it take after your reta dose stabilized for sleep to settle? Mine's the same, awake at five for nothing and hoping to doze off for another hour lol.

Down 100+ lbs, off meds 6 months!

Six months for me, 2.5mg then 5mg, three months each, twenty kilos gone. Maintaining that has been hard, though food no longer rules me, I'm healthier, and side effects were nearly nonexistent. Since results were good, another six months later is possible.

    AHK-Cu injectible, anyone tried?

Mostly topical or scalp-focused stuff is what I've come across for AHK-Cu, people don't use it in place of GHK-Cu, so I wouldn't read the freeze-dried form as the usual route.

Reconstituting GLP-1s: pH, storage & safety

Part one went over my head, no problem. Nobody's shown me convincing evidence that lyophilized vials fail in the freezer. What worries me more is vial degradation itself. Buying a freezer is fine, but at that seriousness I'd buy a second as backup. One lab head suggests going to -40C barely...

Upped to O.5mg and having the worst nausea

Totally normal on the starting dose, that's what it's for, to check for side effects before stepping up. Your reaction sounds ordinary and your doctor will likely keep you here a few weeks. My own Ozempic started in July on the smallest dose and I'm ending week 5. Regular food is mostly fine...

Food noise is back - help!

Not everyone loses the food noise. Mine has been there at every dose, even eighteen months into 15mg. Losing or maintaining is still possible, it just takes diligence. Over time most people get it back whatever their dose, since these meds don't primarily work through that.

    GLP-1 plateau? What's next?

hey! your body adapting is very plausible. many people report tolerance to these drugs, with a big early response that fades as the dose rises. the reason your doctor went up (you handled it fine) doesn't matter, what counts is appetite control. holding at 7mg while it worked might have kept...

OMG - I hit my goal!!

Totally get where you're coming from, but I'd steer away from putting arbitrary deadlines or specific numbers on health like that. My own heart rate reads normal, yet my scale weight and body composition numbers all sit high, not sure how meaningful that particular figure even is as a health...
