Ozempic Face - is it a real thing??

Ozempic face isnt a real thing on its own. What causes it is losing weight too fast or too extremely, and that happens with any route, meds, starving, cancer, whatever. If you take it off gradually and dont let yourself get underweight, youll be fine. Faces change shape whenever weight goes up...

    New to GLP-1s? Start Here

Hi, so glad you're starting! Six months into Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes with severe obesity, and the experience has been very good. As others have said, the scary side effects you read about online may never happen to you. They're real but not typical. Early on I had mild nausea for a single...

    Mounjaro making me crazy?

That reads like a low blood sugar episode (Im no doctor, just a long-time diabetic). If you have diabetes, did you test? You need a finger-prick glucose meter, or a CGM if eligible or affordable off the shelf. Going all day without eating while any diabetic medication is on board, like Mounjaro...

Taking a break from reta because of a heart issue

Sadly, plenty of folks say a GLP med works far worse when restarted after a break. If there's any way to keep going without a gap, I'd strongly suggest it. Do whatever it takes to avoid a stop-start cycle. A gap can cost you real progress.

    Stacking peps for weight loss?

What worked: Reta, Tirz, Semax plus Selank (they seem to complement each other, so I pair them). What didn't: NAD+, glutathione, and Tirz, which gave me dragon-sized hunger, though I know it works wonderfully for many people and don't want to knock it.

    Thinking about GH - thoughts?

What are your goals? Younger than you by a few years, and female, my current stack is Reta, a GHK blend, TRT, Tesa plus Ipa. Tesa with Ipa is aiding my recovery after training and my sleep. The cycle wraps up this week and I'll reassess how I feel. HGH is sitting around here too, but I feel that...

    Diabetes and Ozempic Success!

Metformin alone through my pregnancy pushed my A1c up after ten months without my shot. Ozempic was my medication before, so it's not a perfect comparison, but my diabetes went a bit haywire in the third trimester and I ended up on 4 insulin shots daily. I'm certainly not saying that will happen...

    Reta not working?! Help!

Others summed it up as well as I could, if not better. But here goes: for me, personally, reta simply wasn't working. Was my trial long enough? Did I test other sources in case potency was the problem? That's why the call is yours alone.

    Stacking GLP-1s... too much?

Honestly, there's no science on stacking multiple GLPs. The closest data comes from the high-dose sema trials (7.2mg and 16mg): nothing unexpected on safety, not much extra weight loss, much heavier GI trouble plus skin sensitivity, and 7.2mg sema was approved anyway. For GLPs plus amylin...

Strong response on 2.5 mg Mounjaro: could I be a super responder?

Roughly five days is Mounjaro's half-life in your body. That leaves around 1mg circulating when your first 2.5 week ends. Week two therefore acts like 3.5. By the third shot even more remains, maybe 1.5mg, which makes week three feel like a 4mg dose. Things mostly plateau around weeks 4-5. Until...

    Finally feeling normal around food!

PCOS here too, and I also wrestle hard with fullness signals and food noise. Fertility has been a struggle, and three years of repeated IVF rounds left me roughly 20 kg heavier, weight I want gone before our last round. My fertility specialist actually prescribed the Mounjaro. First week so far...

    My go-to weight loss meal

Rotisserie chicken is my staple: I strip the meat and stretch it over several meals through the week, and a big piece of salmon gets the same treatment. When I want a snack but not a full meal, I'll eat either one cold straight from the fridge. Evenings end with a 'sweet' treat, either mango or...

    Mixing Glutathione - help!

Previously 200mg, now 300mg. I switched from 600mg vials to 1200mg vials. A 600mg vial got 3mL BAC, and 1mL delivered 200mg. A 1200mg vial gets 4mL BAC, again 1mL per dose, giving 300mg. Your 1200mg vial could take 6mL BAC, then 1mL equals 200mg. The sting isn't really bad. My volumes were...

Ozempic: One year and feeling great!

A few odd physical side effects caught me off guard. Nighttime dry mouth got so bad I woke with thick residue coating my palate, needing a firm toothbrush to scrape it off. Standing up quickly also left me very lightheaded more often. Hair thinning was heavy, on my head only, naturally. Severe...

    My clothes are too big!

Take someone else shopping. Mine did this: once she'd dropped many pounds my mother kept buying things five sizes too large, so I walked her into a shop, helped her dress and chose her purchases myself.

    Sema vs. PMS Appetite Battle!

At .25 the chatter hadn't vanished, but it got noticeably quieter. Appetite dipped slightly, yet steady loss only started once I reached 1mg.

25 with chronic food noise. planning to take mounjaro/reta - should i?

Mine wasn't nonstop thinking about food. It showed up as three habits. First, snacking without hunger simply because snacks were in the cupboard, and the empty-cupboard fix falls apart at the office or at parties. Second, serving myself extra helpings of the healthy meals I'd cooked, since they...

    Slow Start on GLP-1s?

I side with the other replies. The first .25 and .5 doses are basically loading, real therapy begins around 1mg and needs a few doses to build. LOG YOUR CALORIES, please. It's surprisingly easy to land on maintenance calories on GLP-1 treatment, especially if you used to overeat and gain...

GLP-1s and a new lease on life!

Great to see a doctor who considers price. After 7 months at 5mg I stepped up to 7.5, and the 15mg pen, which stretches over 2.5 months, ran just 40 dollars above a single month of 7.5.

    Hitting Goals!

Not certain I count as a strong responder, though I began in April at 285 with a long term target of 180. Short term goals help me too, right now getting under 250 with just 5lbs to go. Way back at senior year I hit 220, which will likely be my next target after 250. I chose 180 because it lands...
