Down 76lbs! Feeling like a new me!

76 pounds changes what your whole body does - fitness capacity grows faster than people expect at that magnitude and it keeps surprising you.

    Appetite back on higher dose?

Appetite returning at a new dose is usually a two-to-three week recalibration rather than a ceiling - the body adjusts to the higher level and suppression typically restores. The other medication interaction point is worth raising with a doctor if it continues, since the max dose on some of...

Officially down a hundo! Onederland, here I come!

Thanks, everyone! To answer some questions: it took me about 2.5 years using a GLP-1. I focused on a high-protein diet and aimed for 30 minutes of walking most days. Nothing too crazy!

    Tesa/Reta - weird taste changes?

I'm on Reta and Tirz. Alcohol tastes awful, and fresh ahi tuna, which I used to love, now makes me want to hurl. It's annoying that the high-protein foods I need are the least appetizing. Protein shakes, too... yuck.

    Reta trial: liver probs?

Saw this dude on Reddit say he's been on sema for a year, and he's off all his blood pressure meds now. His cholesterol and triglycerides are perfect for the first time in 15 years! That's awesome! Hopefully, we'll see the same kind of long-term benefits with Reta.

    Reta trial: liver probs?

I've seen a few people on Reddit say they had to quit the trials because of high liver enzymes. Mine have been creeping up, too. ChatGPT said it's probably liver stress from reta reducing liver fat, which can be temporary. My ALT was 33 before starting, now it's almost 100. I'll stop if it hits...

    Reta trial: liver probs?

That might be it. He started the trial around May of last year at 355lbs. This March, he was down to 176lbs. That's shedding off 179lbs in like, 10 months. That's almost 18lbs a month, or 4.5lbs a week. Like you said, ...crazy fast.

    Reta trial: liver probs?

I'm honestly hoping it's not the Retatrutide. I feel like if it was, we would have noticed it back in phase 2. But maybe I'm just in denial 'cause I want it to be amazing.

    Reta trial: liver probs?

So, I saw a post from someone participating in the retatrutide phase 3 trials. Apparently, his recent blood tests came back with some abnormalities. He mentioned he's on the 12mg dosage. Everyone's hoping it's not because of the reta itself.

    Major NSV!

Thanks, Jamie2003! Honestly, consistency is key. Stick with the dosing schedule your doc recommends. I started low and gradually increased as needed. Also, listen to your body – if you're feeling nauseous, don't push it. Small, frequent meals helped me a lot. Also, increasing the amount of water...

    Major NSV!

My 35th birthday is right around the corner, and I was reminiscing, looking at old photos. It's astounding how much I've changed in just a few years. Back in late 2024, I was hovering around 400 pounds, my blood sugar was a mess, and my blood pressure was sky-high. I'd tried every diet...
