Down 76lbs! Feeling like a new me!

My situation is complicated with the transplant and my doctor has to fight with insurance about whether I qualify, but the glucose control I'm getting on Tirz is honestly unbelievable. Really good. So happy heading into the new year!

That's seriously impressive! You look completely different. The strength work really shows, it takes commitment to do both weight loss and training like that.

totally agree. not everyone wants to learn or put in the effort. ive always believed that forcing help on someone just creates more stress for everyone. when ive worked with people who aren't willing to try, i just dont bother anymore. whats the point in putting energy into something thats not going to work out right

He shouldn't have cut you off cold, should've tapered the dose till weight stabilized. You're back in titration mode — won't kick in again until it rebuilds. Might take weeks. Could also try switching to another GLP1 if nothing shifts soon.

The social reengagement piece is harder to articulate than the physical changes, which is why it gets less coverage. Years of withdrawing from events and environments that felt uncomfortable creates a habit of absence the weight loss doesn't automatically reverse - the desire to be present again is its own distinct shift.

76 pounds changes what your whole body does - fitness capacity grows faster than people expect at that magnitude and it keeps surprising you.
