    GLP-1 bloodwork deets?

I'm curious who else here has gotten blood tests done because of using GLP1RAs, either ordered by their doctor or on their own, and what the typical findings are. As an example, I recently had a range of tests done (like CBC, CMP, Thyroid, Pancreas, etc.) and everything came back normal except...

    GLP-1s for T2D: real talk

Great overview. To answer the remission question: in most cases, if glycemic control is medication-dependent, stopping the medication results in rising glucose over time. Some patients who lose substantial weight and maintain it can reduce dose, but many require ongoing therapy. Type 2...

    Big vial benefit?

Sema has been tested at doses as high as 16mg per week. Here's the study: study here After being stuck at 12mg of reta per week, I've switched to 10mg/wk of sema and 5mg/wk of reta, and it's working great.

    Big vial benefit?

My initial thought was that maybe people are using more than 2.5mg. I won't be participating in any communal vials, though! Definitely not.

    Big vial benefit?

I don't really have any issues with it. I've just never kept a GLP-1 in one vial for so long. I have a friend on pharmaceutical Ozempic who's interested in trying this, since the cost is so high. I was stacking tirzepatide with some reta, but I had to stop because I was losing too much! I...

    Big vial benefit?

Would you purchase such a large amount if you're only using 2.5mg each day?

    Big vial benefit?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering about the larger vials of semaglutide. If the standard dose is, say, 2.5mg, what's the advantage of buying a vial that contains enough for several months? Are some people actually using higher doses than the recommended maximum? I'd be interested to hear your...

    Hit ONEderland!!

Right with ya! Down to 218 this morning from 270 last year. Haven’t been this light since '09. Aiming for 180 but being under 200 is probably a 25 year milestone for me too. Congrats!!

    Hit ONEderland!!

A week ago, I went under 200 (my weight when I was in the Army) for the first time in roughly 30 years. Congrats! It took me 7 months starting from 235, and I'll be at my GW in less than 15 lbs more (180-185).

    Down 90lbs! Happy tears!!

That's what my doc said too! "Once you're on it, you could be on it for life." He said even with diet and exercise, many gain the weight back. It's something to consider.

    Restarting GLP-1s: My bad experience

If you're a real dermatologist I'm concerned for your patients. You're trying to cause harm. Provide proper credentials so people can sue you after your bad advice damages their skin. Maybe take a drive and chill out. Your lived experience is just an opinion anyway. Everyone has opinions.

    BAC Water Armageddon?

I've seen recommendations for a pH between 5.0 and 7.0 for most peptides to ensure stability.
