Big vial benefit?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering about the larger vials of semaglutide. If the standard dose is, say, 2.5mg, what's the advantage of buying a vial that contains enough for several months? Are some people actually using higher doses than the recommended maximum? I'd be interested to hear your experiences and hopefully this will help others too.

My guess is people like the cost savings and having extra available. There's debate about how long a mixed vial stays good, but GLP-1s seem fairly stable. I'd rather risk some potency loss than get multiple shipments of smaller vials. I think the worry about potency decreasing is often overblown, especially for GLPs.

Yeah, I probably would. What dose are you comfortable with? Are you sticking with sema or thinking of trying something else? Some folks are experimenting with dosages beyond what's typically prescribed. Also, I've had bac water last for months and months. You never know... you might want to share with a close family member down the line. A big vial could be divided into smaller, sterile containers. Not that I'm suggesting it, but you never know!

I don't really have any issues with it. I've just never kept a GLP-1 in one vial for so long. I have a friend on pharmaceutical Ozempic who's interested in trying this, since the cost is so high. I was stacking tirzepatide with some reta, but I had to stop because I was losing too much! I wouldn't share directly with anyone, but splitting it into separate vials is an interesting idea. I'm always worried about potential issues if other people are involved.

Cost is the main thing that comes to mind (or if more than one person in the household is researching sema). Not sure how safe it is for multiple people to use the same vial, but everyone has their own risk tolerance, I suppose. Someone mentioned splitting into sterile vials, which is another option.

Hey there! It seems like the risk should be the same whether one person or multiple people are drawing from the same vial, as long as everyone is using sterile techniques – like swabbing with alcohol each time and never reusing syringes, right? Plus, many people use those injector pens now. So the vial shouldn't know if it's being used by one person or several!

I bought two 20mg kits without thinking, and now I realize I have enough to last for ages if it stays good, LOL. I got someone else to start too, but with the small starting doses plus my .5 when I'm stacking with tirz, I probably won't even finish one. Lesson learned!

I was thinking about filling multiple cartridges from a single vial. I just started researching KLOW, and if it helps my joint pain, I'm definitely sharing with my husband.

Sema has been tested at doses as high as 16mg per week. Here's the study: study here

After being stuck at 12mg of reta per week, I've switched to 10mg/wk of sema and 5mg/wk of reta, and it's working great.

I'm starting to think about going over 2.4mg/week. I'm a big fan of sema. It was great from BP. Not having as much luck with RS grey, even with a break between branded and grey. But, I'm still working at it to get it working for my RS again, LOL.

I'm testing 2.4 now with a .25 cagei chaser a few days later. Still no weight loss since September.

I agree completely. I've used open vials for months and vials past their BUD with no issues in safety or effectiveness.

There have been discussions lately about freezing mixed vials. I didn't see why you wouldn't just freeze it as a powder, but splitting a big vial into smaller ones and freezing some makes sense, and I might try it.
