    Reta working TOO well?

Last Thursday was Christmas. The week between Christmas and New Year's is notorious for all the tempting foods. That's my guess. The hardest fast I ever did was December 26th to January 2nd, even though I've fasted longer. It was the constant temptation. If I had GLP's back then, it would have...

Useful 3D Prints for GLP-1 peeps!

CellMom That's a pertinent question. Some patients have reported increased sensitivity to alcohol while on GLP-1 medications. This can manifest as feeling the effects of alcohol more quickly and intensely, as well as experiencing more severe hangovers. It's also worth noting that alcohol can...

Useful 3D Prints for GLP-1 peeps!

This is a great idea! Thanks CellMom for contributing these designs. I'm always looking for better ways to organize my supplies and keep everything sterile. I've seen some people struggle with the mental aspect of GLP-1s and like to track their progress with photo collages. I'd encourage anyone...

Needle size panic and dosing GLP-1

If you can easily pinch the injection area, you're probably not hitting muscle. BUT... if you aren't that overweight, you probably won't get stretch marks or loose skin... unless you're older.

Scale stuck? Check other progress markers!

Are you on a low dose? I have a friend who didn't see results until they got to 1mg. Hang in there!

    Halfway to my goal!

I'm 5'3" and started Tirz in March '23 at 195 lbs. Now I'm at 145. And I'm in my 50s with 4 kids! I'm happy at this size and my size 10 jeans fit again. But, PipNotes where did you get the jeans in the butterfly pic? They look so comfy!

    Halfway to my goal!

Great job! I'm also 5'2", started around 190 and now I'm at 140. I know I should start strength training, but I'm a little intimidated.

    Ripped off? Source nightmare...

Reputable compounding pharmacies are the way to go if you want to minimize risk. They'll cost more, sure, but you're paying for quality control. Even then, most peptides aren't FDA approved, but they're legal to prescribe. It's the quality control that matters.

    Ripped off? Source nightmare...

I can't stress this enough! This is exactly why I get annoyed when people are practically begging for source names and contacts. They're completely clueless about how likely they are to get scammed. Honestly, if you're too lazy to do a bit of reading and find out who the current vendors are and...

    Stacking peps...timing?

That's interesting! Do you have any bloodwork before and after taking it? I'm wondering if it actually improves immune markers like CD4 count or just makes you feel better subjectively.

    Stacking peps...timing?

I've seen some interesting research on Tesamorelin and its potential benefits, especially for reducing visceral fat. I know @Nelson Vergel has experimented with it. It seems like a slow-acting drug, though. Have you noticed any effects yourself? Any lab work to share?

    Cheat meals still a thing?

Protein is super important on these meds. If I meet my protein goals, I don't worry about calories as much.

    Scale's not everything!

It's important to remember that semaglutide isn't a magic bullet. It helps, but lifestyle changes are critical for long-term success. Diet and exercise are still essential. Otherwise, you might just regain any weight lost.

    Cheat meals still a thing?

I eat what I want (before and now, although I try to get protein and fiber) and I have "cheat days" toward the end of the week when more food sounds good. Like pizza or eating out. At first, I couldn't eat a high-calorie meal without issues, but now I've adjusted. I don't see it as cheating...
