Hair falling out on Zepbound :(

I lost most of my hair after a year on a really strict keto diet and losing 80 pounds. Luckily, it did grow back. Now that I’m on Mounjaro, I’m not cutting out any food groups, and I haven’t had any hair loss this time, even though I’m down 55lbs. But I can't tolerate high doses, so my weight...

    Retatrutide Names: Wild Guesses?

Are drug companies contractually obligated to invent the most bizarre names possible? I'm picturing whale song or dial-up modem noises.

Are you getting enough protein and calories in your diet?

Lump after the shot, is it normal?

I use a sharps container. The manufacturer of my GLP-1 actually sends a free one with a prepaid return label for disposal. Check the company's website!

Lump after the shot, is it normal?

It could also be because there was some old scar tissue there from a previous injection. Next time, try to inject an inch or so away from that spot, about a month from now.

    Face gains!

I'm so glad you posted this! It's inspiring. I started my journey a few months ago. It's slow but seeing your progress gives me motivation!

Lump after the shot, is it normal?

You're fine. Don't stress and absolutely do not inject a second dose or you'll be sorry!

    Anyone else a slow loser?

FL_Sunshine_77 Don't give up! Five weeks is early, and the lower doses (0.25-0.5) are more for getting your body used to it. Lots of people don't see any big appetite changes til they hit 1.0mg or more. Also, weight can change day to day because of water or salt. So those 2 lbs might just be...

    Anyone else a slow loser?

Same here, just like you! I've been on it since about the middle of last year. My dose was just bumped up to 1.0 in January. Still nothing happening.

    Anyone else a slow loser?

My weight is decreasing at a snail's pace, and I'm still dealing with hunger. I'm at 1 mg. I've lost about 17 pounds since the very end of October. Now, I'm working with a trainer, doing more cardio, and eating even more protein (already over 80 g per day).

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

As a general note, it is wise to explore lifestyle changes before messing with your body chemistry, especially when you're only 21 years old. The body has an amazing capacity to heal and regulate itself, as long as it gets the right signals from the mind. Some may need medication but they're in...

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

I did something similar with Tirz a while back. I increased the dose a little too fast, and my body was NOT happy. It wasn't a good week. But I definitely respect the need for self-control now. Knowing what can happen has kept me from repeating that! Hydrate and make smart food choices this...

    I'm HOT at 53! 🔥

You seem to have reversed the clock! You look more youthful at 53 than you did at 42. The excess weight was aging you. So pleased for you! You look wonderful. Love your hair!

Didn't notice til I looked back!

I love hearing about that! Feels so good. I was trying to lose weight the old-fashioned way without meds, and wasn't getting anywhere. Now that I'm back on the shot, it's coming off with the same amount of effort!

    Tirz every 6 days?

I've seen some people mention tolerance breaks. Has anyone tried that with Tirz? I'm wondering if skipping a week occasionally would help prevent the "food noise" from coming back so strongly. I'm worried about that happening once I hit my goal weight.
