I just got my second bloodwork done in 4 months, and I can say that on 5 mg of reta weekly, my liver enzymes have never looked better. Same for uric acid and cholesterol.
Excellent work!! I've had similar luck on the initial dose. Hitting the gym hard every day and I'm leaner than HS. Gained a lot of muscle too. Keep it up!
Could this be why the company isn't really hyping up Reta in their investor announcements? It makes you wonder if they're seeing similar issues in the trials.
I've experienced some weird side effects, too. For me, it's been occasional nausea and a general feeling of being unwell. Creating a ChatGPT bot to track my side effects is an interesting idea. Has anyone else tried something like that?
Have you had your thyroid checked out? Or seen a hormone specialist? Something else might be messing with your hormones. Are you taking any other meds that might be boosting your appetite?
You've been on this for a while, so you probably know your body well. If you're eating around 2000...
Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to know that it *is* possible to keep the weight off long-term. I'm worried about going off it and regaining everything. What were the biggest dietary changes you made that you think contributed most to your success?
Do you all include exercise with your GLP-1 treatment? I try to get 20,000 steps Mon-Fri which my watch calculates to be about 3,000 calories eaten up. I am on WeGovy, down 70 pounds in about 7 months.. gotta get my steps in.
I'm surprised the 'common questions' didn't mention changes in libido or...other physical changes. Seems to be a hot topic for men losing this much weight on here.
