    Mounjaro since August - progress!

You're doing great! I was diagnosed with Type 2 in December, started insulin right away, but began Mounjaro at the end of January. I just increased to 5 mg last night. I'd be thrilled to see similar results!

    Down 36lbs - can't believe it!

Congrats! I feel you on the height thing, I'm 5'2", started at 192 and am now at 180. My mom's 4'11" lol. I'm on the same medication, keep it up!

    Too many rules?

I am of the opinion that the most important thing is to be on board with what you are doing. If you despise it, then its a countdown till you quit doing it, i think that is a huge factor in the success people have and the good feeling associated with it.

Is it just ME...or do I still feel fat?

Totally understand what you mean. Being shorter, sometimes it feels like every pound is magnified. I took before and after pics from 134 to 120, and honestly, I barely see a difference, even though I went down two belt sizes! Maybe we just carry the weight differently, or we're too focused on...

    Down 36lbs - can't believe it!

A friendly suggestion: before —> after pics. You look amazing.

    Too many rules?

The thing is... I know my friends and family want to be helpful and give good advice. But... if you haven't been through the same things, your advice is coming from a totally different place. It's like when someone who's never had anxiety asks, "Why do you even worry?" Or says, "Love conquers...

    Too many rules?

I'm a big fan of KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid! I have 2 goals: watch my calories and stay under my TDEE, and get at least 100g protein per day (not a crazy amount). Otherwise, I eat pretty much whatever I want, as long as it fits within my calories. If I want whiskey, I log it. If I want...

    Too many rules?

Does anyone else get overwhelmed by too many restrictions? I decided to really buckle down and cut back on almost all sweets and high starch carbs. Then a family member started listing off like a million other things to cut. My usual response is to dig in my heels. If I have too many guidelines...

    Finally Starting Tirzepatide!

I started about 5 weeks ago. I was increasing my dose every couple of weeks. Last night I was dealing with the most painful combo of constipation AND diarrhea... I threw up. Force yourself to drink a ton of water so you don’t get constipated. Everyone has different side effects but that one...

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

Just wanted to add to the conversation about refrigeration. It's not always about preventing total degradation, but minimizing partial degradation. Even small changes to the peptide structure can reduce its effectiveness or potentially cause unwanted side effects. Play it safe, people!

    Finally Starting Tirzepatide!

I'm hoping to start my own journey soon too! I hope things go smoothly for you!

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

Like Petal pointed out, big pharma allows room temp for a while. I wonder if that includes multi-dose pens or just single-use. I think contamination is a bigger worry than degradation. If you use sterile water and alcohol swabs, I think it's safe at room temp for a couple weeks. But...

    Reta + Sema Together? Thoughts?

I'm also on metformin. My doc says to keep taking it with my GLP-1. Apparently they work differently in the body. I've even been able to stop taking insulin, but I'm still on metformin.

Anyone tried Lemon Bottle for fat loss?

I've heard radiofrequency microneedling, like Morpheus8, can help some people with skin tightening after weight loss. It's pricey, though.

Anyone tried Lemon Bottle for fat loss?

It's a localized injection. You're supposed to only target that area. There are trustworthy places to get it. I wouldn't order it from some random overseas supplier, though. There are similar products out there too. Do some digging! 😉

    Reta + Sema Together? Thoughts?

Yes, my plan is to lower semaglutide as I increase retatrutide. I decreased to 1mg semaglutide after my fourth dose of 2mg retatrutide. I'm going to increase to 4mg retatrutide next week and lower semaglutide to 0.50mg. I want to lose 30 more pounds this year. I can increase semaglutide as...

    Reta + Sema Together? Thoughts?

Wow, those are amazing results. I dropped 110 pounds with semaglutide but stalled last year. This week, I started retatrutide at 2mg combined with 1.25 mg semaglutide. I'm hoping to drop another 40 pounds.

    Peptides for RA Relief?

Thanks! This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I wonder if you can stack PEA with other treatments?

I am curious if this is a good option as well.
