Hi everyone,
I'd love to hear about your experiences combining different GLP-1 medications. I've been using them for a little over a year and I've managed to drop about 85 pounds. I began with semaglutide from a local clinic, and switched to tirzepatide when it became more affordable. A couple of months ago, I switched again to retatrutide after finding some research peptide sources.
I'm currently taking 12 mg of retatrutide each week. Unfortunately, my weight loss has slowed down a lot, and I still have about 50 pounds to lose to reach my goal. I've always struggled with snacking, and I'm finding that retatrutide isn't suppressing my appetite as much as I'd like. Semaglutide was the best for appetite control for me, but I know retatrutide has some other advantages. I'm a little hesitant to try cagrilintide, given the warnings about side effects, especially since semaglutide gives me the appetite suppression I want. So, here are my questions:
1. Since 12mg of retatrutide is the highest dose used in the clinical trials, should I avoid going higher to get better appetite suppression? Has anyone here gone beyond that dose?
2. Since retatrutide and semaglutide are similar but not identical, would it make sense to combine them? Maybe taking them a few days apart?
3. If I add semaglutide, should I lower my retatrutide dose? If so, what would you recommend?
Thanks in advance for your help!
