    Always Feeling Chilly?!

I agree it's not magic. Folks need to remember lifestyle changes are still needed. The injection is not a magic bullet for weight loss. I've seen clients who think they can continue eating fast food and think the pounds will just melt away!

    Always Feeling Chilly?!

I used to get the shivers, especially when I increased my dose from 2.5 to 5. Much better now, about 4 1/2 months in.

Brain catching up to new you?

That really hits home with me! I've lost close to 25 pounds and still struggle with this!

    Went From Heavy to...Less Heavy!

75lbs is huge. Congrats on the progress. I get the expense guilt. Been there, rationing doses. It's a terrible cycle. If cost is a concern, there are ways to make it sustainable long-term. I found some choices that made staying on it way more doable. DM me if you wanna compare notes.

    Went From Heavy to...Less Heavy!

It's not a failure at all. That mindset shift is key – seeing it as an investment. 75lbs proves it's working. Keep it up!

    Always Feeling Chilly?!

I've had the same issue, especially this past winter. I've been freezing! I figured it was just because I'm getting older. I wear knee socks, a thick robe, and use an electric throw. I finally found some really warm lounging pajamas online. I call them my Eskimo pajamas, lol. They're so comfy...

Fine to stay on a low dose?

Don't get disheartened keep-going. I have patients who don't start seeing real change until they hit the higher doses of 1 or 2mg. Your A1c might also be a factor.

    FOX04 vs FOX04-DRI - HUGE Difference!

I saw some concerning news about compounded medications, and it reminded me of this thread. The FDA is looking into topical finasteride and has received multiple reports of side effects, including sexual dysfunction, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. It's probably a good idea to research the...

Fine to stay on a low dose?

I stuck with each dose for like 3 months, still dropped weight and had minimal side effects! Dropped a hundred in just over a year, and I only ever hit 1.7!

Fine to stay on a low dose?

Don't rush to increase your dosage until you absolutely need to. I've been on this since late 2023, and so far I've shed more than 100lbs, and I'm still not even close to the highest dose.

    FOX04 vs FOX04-DRI - HUGE Difference!

I noticed the FOX04 on one vendor's list actually links to a lab analysis that says it's FOX04-DRI.

Anyone else notice a mental shift?

Some people have found success ordering the kids' portions at restaurants, to prevent waste. A strategy to consider!

Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

Drink more water and add more fiber! Fam, I'm in the same boat because I didn't drink enough water this week. The pellet poop life is real.

Anyone else notice a mental shift?

That moment of mental quiet is really significant. A lot of my patients describe it as the first tangible sign that the medication is effective.

I hit my first goal weight!

199 lbs is a fantastic achievement! Enjoy weighing yourself! :))))

Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

Definitely increase your water intake, NurseFam! I find that warm water works best. Have you tried senna tea? That usually does the trick for me.

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

It's worth remembering that these medications don't work in isolation. If you haven't addressed underlying issues like diet and exercise, you might just be masking symptoms temporarily only to rebound later. Tolerance can develop, necessitating higher and higher doses, which comes with increased...

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

It's always smart to understand the half-life of any peptide you're using. For those with longer half-lives, like Reta, use a GLP-1 plotter to see how the concentration builds in your system beyond the injected dose. It can take around a month to reach a steady state on a dose, so wait at least...

    Down 93kg... Now what?!

You lost 93kg in 43 weeks? I know we aren’t supposed to compare ourselves to others, but I’m at 15mg now, and I've been on MJ for over a year, and it's s-l-o-w going. Edit: Sorry for making this about me. 🙄 You look fantastic, and the look on your face in that last pic is like so much more than...
