GLP-1 Success Story - My Journey!

Congrats! You can tell how much hard work you put in. You should be very proud of what you accomplished. You will feel so much better after your surgery. I had a panniculectomy last September and I never imagined how much back pain and other issues disappeared after the procedure. It was like...

    Meat and eggs gross now!?

I've been taking semaglutide for a little under a month, and for the past 10 days or so, pretty much all meat and eggs make me feel sick. It's a new thing. Like I'm suddenly super sensitive to smells I never noticed before, and I start to gag before I even taste anything. I even tried a fancy...

    Huberman: GLP-1s changed wellness?

That's a smart idea. I was told to use black plates to better see the rice with more contrast. I should probably stop eating from bowls, haha.

    Huberman: GLP-1s changed wellness?

Let me clarify my CICO comment: CICO isn't wrong, it's just not useful for long-term weight loss. You know eating less will make you smaller, and eating more will make you bigger. You don't need science to understand that. The problem is, it's nearly impossible to accurately determine calorie...

    Huberman: GLP-1s changed wellness?

The diet and nutrition world is full of bad information, so I get why some people were skeptical of GLP-1s at first. I was too! It was reading about retatrutide that made me understand. A lot of "experts" still think CICO is the only way to lose weight and that GLP-1s just make you eat less...

    Reta kicking hypertension's butt!

Wow, reading about everyone's BP improvements and weight loss success is really inspiring! I'm down to the weight I was in high school. My recent physical showed my metabolic age is like 25, even though I'm 59! I'm focusing on exercise, healthy eating, and JOY! Doctor is amazed.

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

0.5mg every 3 days is more than 1mg per week.. Try injecting at least twice a week and slowly increase the dose until you feel the appetite suppression again. Could also be underdosed or fake product.

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

Hey, newbie here. I'm 21, kinda overweight (6' and 265lbs). Been on Reta for two weeks. First week was great at 500mcg every 3 days. Now I'm at 1mg once a week, and it feels like nothing! My food cravings are back, and my appetite isn't suppressed much. I'm trying to eat mostly protein and fat...

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

Started at 0.5mg Reta...first week...nothing much. Bumped to 1mg the next week. Still nada - no changes in appetite or anything, no side effects either. This week I went to 1.5mg...and yeah, regretting that. Just feeling kinda queasy all the time, which isn't exactly what I was going for in...

    CJC/IPA: 5mg/5mg too much?

Yes. You need an empty stomach because insulin can mess with the peptides' ability to make your body release GH. If you can wait a full hour, even better.

    CJC/IPA: 5mg/5mg too much?

Not starting too strong? Wait 2-3 hours after eating before taking it if the GLP-1 is still in your system. (1 hour should be fine once it's out). Or, take it half an hour before eating, based on what I've read. Stopping without tapering is fine.
