CJC/IPA: 5mg/5mg too much?

I've been taking Tirzepatide and I'm approaching my weight goal. I'm thinking about starting CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin at 5mg each, mixed together, for a 12-week cycle. I've done a fair bit of research on the right amounts, but just want to be totally sure I'm not starting too strong. 5 days on, 2 days off. And yeah, not eating an hour before or after. Is it okay to just stop when the 12 weeks is up? I'd appreciate hearing about anyone else's experience or advice. I'll add my schedule here too.

Thanks,
Griz

Not starting too strong?

Wait 2-3 hours after eating before taking it if the GLP-1 is still in your system. (1 hour should be fine once it's out). Or, take it half an hour before eating, based on what I've read.

Stopping without tapering is fine.

I did an 8-week cycle of cjc 1295 (no dac) and ipa. It messed with my sleep instead of helping it, which apparently happens to a few people.

Also, watch out for a flushed or tingly feeling right after the shot. It's normal and doesn't last long (like 15 mins). You might also get itchy spots or little bumps a day or so later. It's not a big deal, but good to know it can happen so you don't freak out.

Okay good to know. How soon after the shot does the flushing start? What was the highest amount you used? And did you notice any muscle gains, if you were trying to build muscle?

Okay, thanks. The Tirzepatide will be all gone before I begin. So, if I'm taking the shot in the mornings, I can eat like 30 minutes later?

The flushing starts in like 5-10 mins. I think I went up to 500-1000mcg of cjc and 350 of ipa. And yeah, I think it helped me keep muscle while I was cutting calories.

I'm thinking of trying tesamorelin and ipamorelin soon. Supposedly it's the best combo.

Yes. You need an empty stomach because insulin can mess with the peptides' ability to make your body release GH. If you can wait a full hour, even better.

I finally decided to go for it, and everything will be here this week... starting Sunday. What are the best spots to inject? Same as the GLP's? Like, subq in the belly or thigh?

That looks like a solid plan. In the prescribing info for tesamorelin, they don't mention needing to fast. It's thought that insulin can block the GH pulse, but that would only be a problem if you eat right after the shot.

I'm on week 4 of semaglutide at 0.5mg. I'm thinking of staying on it another month. Has anyone else stayed at 0.5mg for a while and still seen results?

I've been on .5 for a year and a half and lost almost 70 pounds. I could probably go up, but don't want to.

I'm about to take my 4th shot of 2.5mg Mounjaro. Not much in the way of issues, just a little bit queasy the day of the shot and the day after. Also, dealing with some manageable constipation. Should I move to 5mg after this week?

I stayed on 2.5mg for about 9 weeks. I'm still on 5mg a year later, but I'm hoping to start reducing it soon. Almost at my goal weight.
