Sweet cravings on tirzepatide? Anyone else?

I'd agree with that. The lower doses are mostly for getting your body used to the med. The real therapeutic effects kick in at 5mg and higher.

Sweet cravings on tirzepatide? Anyone else?

I've definitely seen an increase in sweet cravings as my tirzepatide dose has increased. I used to ignore it, sticking to my planned meals, but the cravings would linger until I gave in. Now, protein bars or yogurt with fruit usually satisfy it.

Sweet cravings on tirzepatide? Anyone else?

Try this: tell yourself you can have all the sweets you desire AFTER you've consumed at least 150g of protein that day.

    sketchy BAC on amazon?

Is there like a general rule for the amount of bac water? I have 5mg of peptide powder, how much water should I add? I'm trying to use 1mg per injection.

    sketchy BAC on amazon?

But do we know why they recommend that? Maybe it's just for marketing. I'm assuming it stays good in the freezer.

    Scale Obsession? Nah, Clothes!

Don't give up hope after only a month and a half! The initial doses are usually just to get your body used to the medication. A lot of people don't really see strong appetite suppression until they get to the higher doses. And 6 pounds in 6 weeks is great too. Also, weight can change day-to-day...

    sketchy BAC on amazon?

I generally don't care about brands. But bac water is different. It's like nobody wants to make it, and the main manufacturer restricted sales when demand went up. So, here's what I do: buy one vial of the brand name stuff. Under $20 is a score. Swab the top with alcohol before using it. Then...

    Scale Obsession? Nah, Clothes!

That's exactly it. Not worth stressing over numbers when you already feel so much better and look amazing. You've made it! Enjoy it!

    Scale Obsession? Nah, Clothes!

I agree. Getting hung up on a few pounds when you're already a size 4 and spending hours at the gym isn't healthy. I worry about people developing obsessive behaviors with these meds. I hope you can appreciate how far you've come and that you're already healthy and fit. You look great!

Not seeing the scale results I wanted :(

Body dysmorphia is real, especially for those of us with a history of weight issues. Keep reminding yourself of the facts – the scale, how your clothes fit, what others are saying. Objectively, you've lost weight.

Not seeing the scale results I wanted :(

10lbs a month is a great rate of loss and is realistically the max you should be striving for. Rapid weight loss can actually be harmful to the body.

    Lowest Weight Ever!

I'm curious about your diet and whether you're focusing on protein intake to help with muscle building. Are you tracking macros or just eating intuitively?

    Type 2 under control!!

I started this medication back in March after my A1c hit 7. I slowly increased to .5 mg weekly, and I've lost about 15 lbs from my 5'10" frame since then. Today my A1c is 5.7. My doctor seemed quite surprised! I also hit the treadmill and weights a few times a week. Plus, I seriously cut back on...

    Type 2 under control!!

This is truly impressive progress. Inject_Progress926, besides the medication, are you also taking metformin or any other diabetes medications?

    Type 2 under control!!

That's really encouraging. I imagine you'll be bumping up to .50 mg soon and seeing even more improvement. I got my A1c down to 6 after a few months at the .50 level.
