Why's everyone nagging 'bout my weight?

The nagging tends to intensify right around when you're actually succeeding, which is one of the more frustrating things about weight loss. People who've never struggled with it genuinely can't model what it took to get here - the snap judgment sample is formed before they understand the work...

Half my size in 8 months!

Half your size in eight months is something most people would struggle to believe is possible - and then they see it happen. The every-other-week maintenance phase is a great data point too. Finding the minimum effective dose for maintenance is actually one of the more interesting...

Weight loss & better treatment: Real?

The hope around GLP-1 and psychiatric conditions is real but the picture is mixed. For some people with depression tied to obesity and inflammation, mood improvements can be significant and independent of weight changes. For others, the reward-blunting effect that quiets food noise can also...

    Just starting... anyone else?

i pinned 3x a week, never timing it around workouts. just whenever—sometimes hours before, sometimes after. my original was friday 8am, sunday 2pm, tuesday 8pm. felt nothing from it. creatine didn't help me either, actually tanked my liver enzymes.

    Cartalax: Anyone tried it?

make your own bac water - grab 50ml ampuwa sterile packs (20 for around 40 euros), highly pure benzyl alcohol from labdiscounter, and mix. the ampuwa bottles have rubber caps perfect for needle work. add 0.45ml pure ba to 50ml and you're good, lasts longer.

    AmoPure batch stings! Anyone else?

when you say the med's not working - is it slower weight loss or actually gaining with no other changes? could be the batch but hard to tell without more context.

    Finally feel like I'm winning!

staying at 2mg for maintenance and eating at maintenance calories now. A1c's normal, kidneys improving, cardiovascular wins just keep coming. not dropping dose because i'm getting too many benefits to stop. diabetic, kidney, heart, and anti-inflammatory stuff all disappears if i quit.

    Suddenly I'm...visible?

You nailed it. My youthful face is gone, and it is changing how people see me at work. In some ways that is better, in others it has not helped.

GLP-1 education - wanna test it?

using pens for BPC and TB-500. tested most of a 3ml convip cartridge for accuracy—they're reliable. issue is the V pens from aliexpress or sketchy vendors. thinking about grabbing a couple to test myself.

    Suddenly I'm...visible?

People make snap judgements, that's just how we're wired. Looking good might get you in the door, but your personality keeps it open. Feeling healthier also probably boosts your confidence, and THAT is what helps seal the deal.

    Prime your shots?

Hey, did you guys hear about the changes to the new injection pens that are coming out? I heard the manufacturer is tweaking them to stop people from getting the 'extra' dose. I guess some people were wasting a lot!

    Prime your shots?

I draw out a little extra, tap it to get the air out, and then push it back in to get the dose right.

    Skin acting up on meds?

Oh yeah, I'm drinking tons of water and electrolytes. My skin has always been acne-prone, so I knew Reta (or the weight loss) could cause a flare-up.

    Skin acting up on meds?

Hi everyone, I've been taking Reta for around 2 months now, and my skin has been not great. I've struggled with acne in the past, and I try to manage it. Since starting the meds, I've had more breakouts, even though I'm still doing my usual skincare routine and staying hydrated. I know Reta...

    Scale Obsessed? 😂

I hear you Shannon1980 about not putting too much faith in those extra stats. I recently saw somebody post about their year-long journey on sema, and while the weight loss was amazing (down almost 55 lbs!), they mentioned still struggling with belly fat. It's a reminder that the scale doesn't...

    Scale Obsessed? 😂

I wouldn't trust it too much, but it's probably good for tracking changes. People stress too much about the exact numbers when the trends are what matter most. I've used Garmin for a while. Data from my watch and scale is super useful. I skip weigh-ins when I know it'll be bad. But facing the...
