    Reta & Hypoglycemia Risk?

I think everyone's advice to consult a doctor is spot on. Hypoglycemia in a non-diabetic elderly patient is a red flag and needs to be fully investigated. It could be a sign of something serious, and starting retatrutide without a diagnosis would be unwise. The images posted on the other forum...

It's so inspirational to see people succeeding with this medication! I'm down about 25 pounds since spring. The meds coupled with consistent workouts have been life-changing. Blood work also improved!

Not seeing the scale results I wanted :(

Dude, RunFTW losing 145 and not seeing it is a real thing. Our brains are weird. Do other people notice? Are your clothes fitting differently? If yes, then it's real. The brain lies.

Not seeing the scale results I wanted :(

Just keep going! You have to lose 30lbs to lose 50lbs! I've lost 90 in 9 months -- same track as you. I've stalled a few times, but just kept at it. You'll be so stoked, just keep it up!

Not seeing the scale results I wanted :(

Seriously, not trying to be a jerk, but why the rush? You're dropping over 10 pounds a month. That's like, a whole person a year!

    Down 100+lbs... scale stalled!

I'm down about 60lbs since late Feb. It's been a rollercoaster ride with some side effects, but also some great wins, like losing weight while on vacation in Italy. The biggest benefit for me is how much the medication has quieted the food noise in my head.

    Down 100+lbs... scale stalled!

Congrats!!! I think there's something to be said for our bodies needing time to reset. In May, I went from 2 workouts a week to 3, upping my strength training to twice a week. The scale didn't budge in June, July, or the first week of August, but I can definitely see that my body is more toned...

Ozempic journey - don't give up!

Wow!! That big smile says it all!! You look fantastic! You should feel so proud of yourself! I’m only on day 6 and the food noise is gone. I keep wondering if this is what it’s like for thin people? Not always thinking about what they are going to eat next? 👏🏻💝

Feeling good in my clothes again!

I've also heard about people losing weight quickly and then not liking how they look. They get to their goal weight and feel "deflated." You have to lift weights!

Feeling good in my clothes again!

I totally get it. As a guy, I do the same thing. I'm always thinking about what I can wear to hide my body. Even after a few weeks on this medicine, I feel less bloated and puffy. I’m excited to do like you, because you look so happy and truly great!! Good 👏 job 👏!!

    One year check-in - down 115!

It's amazing how much these medications change our relationship with food. I'm focusing on protein now, trying to hit 100g per day. It's helping with the cravings. What about you, AntAF? What changes have you noticed besides the weight?
