I've struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I hit my heaviest, around 220 pounds, in my early 30s. I'm in my 40s now, down to about 190, and I started on weight loss injections about a month ago. I haven't felt good about how I look in clothing since college. I always go for clothes that hide everything, like really big shirts and sweaters. I went shopping with a friend because my pants were getting loose, and I wanted to find some things that actually fit. I grabbed a few things in smaller sizes, even a cute top, and tried them on. I was shocked that I'm down two sizes! It's so strange to hate your body and feel stressed when trying on new clothes. I still have more to lose, but I'm getting there.
Basically, I'm starting to feel good about myself and my clothes again.
