    Halfway to my Goal Weight!

No way, it's never too late to start! I'm a 57-year-old woman who went from 300 lbs to 105, and you'll feel amazing. You might need maintenance doses, but that's okay. I'm happy to help in any way I can.

    Taking the plunge today!

Welcome! Hydrate, eat small meals, and try not to stress about every little thing. The first week is mostly mental.

Down then up? Time to stop the shots?

I've just accepted that I'll be on a maintenance dose forever.

Sticking with .25 or moving up to .5?

You know King_Notes, I've heard that traveling and walking a lot can help with weight loss, especially if you are eating healthier cuisines. Maybe the break from the meds will be ok?

Sticking with .25 or moving up to .5?

I dropped around 12 pounds on .25 and just went up to .5 and have lost about two pounds already. I don’t feel any different side effect-wise. If you're not seeing results, increasing the dose might be worth trying.

Sticking with .25 or moving up to .5?

I've been seeing a lot of people say they wish they’d stayed on .25, or actually had better results with it! I'm starting my fifth week soon, and I'm unsure if I should increase my dose. I've basically only lost a single pound in three weeks, which is frustrating because I can typically manage...

    Ozempic plateau during perimenopause?

I had the same problem, but in full menopause. After a year, I had lost maybe 10 lbs or so. Something is better than nothing but I was so discouraged. I ended up switching to Zepbound. It's pricier but I started losing weight again. My food cravings are more intense than yours sound. Those also...

    Someone Said Something Nice!

I saw something online that really resonated with me re: the hate some people have towards those of us using these meds. It's like suddenly people think the weight just magically disappears and we aren't putting in any work. As if the meds are doing all the work and we're not also watching what...

Skinny fat and Reta - keep going?

I've heard some people talk about the "paper towel effect" when losing weight, especially with GLP-1s. It's like you're shrinking overall, but sometimes it doesn't *look* like it at first, then suddenly you see a big change. Maybe you're experiencing that, Veggie?
