    My progress is showing!

Stalls at 190 after 40 lbs are common - the body is resetting. A dose check or macro shift usually breaks it.

    Protein on GLP-1s?! Help!

Liquid protein is the bridge when solids don't work - Premier Protein or Fairlife shakes give 25-30g without triggering nausea. Greek yogurt and cottage cheese tolerate better than meat. Two meals at 80-100g total is achievable.

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

No results in the first few weeks usually comes down to still being at loading dose, eating back the deficit without realizing it, or an individual tolerance issue. The first two are much more common than the third. What dose are you on?

    Still fighting the mental game...

Thanks, Pip46! That helps to know. I'll keep at it and talk to my doctor, like Core-TBH suggested.

    Still fighting the mental game...

That's wonderful news! I'm curious, what was your highest dose, and how long did it take you to reach your desired weight? I'm at the same starting point as you, and I've been on 0.5mg for about 2 months now, but I haven't seen much progress. Is that normal? Thanks!

Oops, made a GLP-1 food mistake!

I had a similar experience to RetaBoss659, but it wasn't food-related. Last week, I was convinced I was dying and went to the ER. I thought it was kidney stones or something serious. Turns out, it was just really bad period cramps! They need to add period relief as a benefit of these meds, lol.

Oops, made a GLP-1 food mistake!

I've been on it for three weeks, no pain like that yet. I get a bit nauseous here and there, but nothing major. Had fast food and felt physically fine, but my conscience yells at me a lot, haha!

    Protein is Key!

Something else I've found helpful is pre-planning my meals for the week. I use an app, and it calculates the macros for me. I can adjust it to make sure I hit my protein goals. It takes a bit of time on the weekend, but it saves me during the week when I'm busy.

    Ozempic art!

I'm down about 85 pounds myself now, and it's wild how much better I feel. I used to get winded walking up one flight of stairs. Now I can handle three without a problem!

Oops, made a GLP-1 food mistake!

It gets way better the longer you take it, I promise! I can eat whatever I want now, but I'm just getting full quicker.

Killer stomach cramps, but doc says keep going?

I've also found that staying super hydrated is key to avoiding some of these issues. I aim for at least 3 liters of water a day. It can make a difference!

    GLP-1 injection site woes?

For traveling with refrigerated meds, look into insulated travel pouches designed for medications. Some need to be activated with water and keep meds cool for a couple of days. Just don't forget to put them back in the fridge when you get to your destination!

Killer stomach cramps, but doc says keep going?

Yes, and keep in mind that because this medication slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach, it was likely something you ate one or even two days prior causing issues. I had terrible pain that kept me up at night. I also experienced forceful vomiting a few days after I increased my...

    GLP-1 injection site woes?

I do subq Test C with a 29 gauge, half-inch needle. 30 gauge works, but it takes forever to draw up the medication, and the difference in comfort between the two isn't noticeable.

Okay! Your skin looks amazing and you have a great jawline. Congratulations.

    Ozempic, wine, and regret?

It might just be anxiety, honestly. I also have a huge phobia of vomiting and I react the same way when I get anxious about it (like if I think I ate something iffy). I'm on week 3 and I've been having a small glass of wine most nights with no issues (I need to curb that, but baby steps!). Just...
