    Down 8 stone! Feeling amazing!

great progress! i was using semaglutide for a few months and dropped 23 pounds before stopping due to cost. switched to a compounded version which has been more manageable financially. been back on it for two weeks now and the weight's coming off again - another three pounds so far.

    Reta stings sometimes?!?!

Used Marek Diagnostics for cheap labcorp tests—CBC and CMP like $9 each. But NY and NJ banned self-directed testing so I can't use it anymore. EDrugstore has a fuller panel for $69, intended for pre-GLP1 Rx, but doesn't seem to flag it yet. Good option if you're not in NY/NJ.

    Reta gone from Skye?!

cycling these meds—stopping and restarting—leads to spotty results depending on how your body adapts. considered compounded versions just for consistency while sorting out the insurance mess.

    5A1MQ experiences?

what these programs don't address is maintenance. once you hit your goal there's gotta be a maintenance dose covered. if not, people just end up shopping the grey market like a lot of us here.

    One year on GLP-1...whoa!

yeah i feel you. 8+ years is a solid stash honestly. pinning a needle once a week to keep food noise down and hunger manageable is low maintenance for life. might get better options like weekly pills down the road but for now this works.

Down 90+ lbs in 2 yrs. Feeling blessed!

Don't tell anyone because of all the stigma and misinformation—people think it's cheating, not realizing what I deal with. Keep it private because that's what feels right for me.

    Goal weight! Now what??

So helpful to hear everyone's experience! I think I'll try spacing out the doses and see how that goes. Thanks!

    Travel on GLP-1s: A Win?

It's inspiring to hear someone excited about travel instead of stressed about the extra calories. Have an amazing time and enjoy the confidence you've earned!

    Goal weight! Now what??

Yes, go down gradually. I've kept the weight off for over a year. I take .50 twice a month now.

    Goal weight! Now what??

I'm so close to my goal, only about 8 lbs to go! What's the plan once we get there? Do we just cut back on the injections, like maybe twice a month instead of weekly? Or do we keep the weekly schedule but lower the dose? How are you all handling maintenance?

Okay to stay on a tiny dose of Ozempic?

Thanks everyone for the advice! I feel a lot better about staying at this dose for a while. I'm going to focus on managing the side effects and making sure I'm eating enough, like JerseyJoeV said. I'll reach out to the online doctor too, just to keep them in the loop.

Okay to stay on a tiny dose of Ozempic?

Some people do great on a small dose. Others don't. I'm just gonna see what happens. I can always up the dose later if I'm not happy with the results on a low dose.

Okay to stay on a tiny dose of Ozempic?

OK so, I'm on Ozempic for weight loss, but I'm not super overweight to begin with (5'2", 135lbs). I'm a little nervous about increasing my dose to what they recommend because of the side effects I'm dealing with. I got my prescription through one of those online places, and they started me at...

    GLP-1 plateau? What's next?

It's interesting to hear how many of us switched from brand name. It sounds like the generic versions might not be as effective. Have any of you noticed a difference in side effects, too? Like, maybe the generics are causing fewer side effects because they're less potent?

    GLP-1 plateau? What's next?

I'll do whatever it takes to avoid getting back to 145kg. I've been under 70kg three times in 30 years but never stayed under 100kg for more than three years. I put up with feeling sick from ozempic for a year because it did curb my appetite. Now, I've been under 75kg for two years. Thankfully...
