Food just ain't the same anymore?

Maybe I'm weird, but my tastes haven't really changed. I just get satisfied quicker and stay that way longer. It's way easier to pass on greasy stuff like burgers, but they still taste great if I have them.

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

I'm also stacking. I recently had to lower my dosages because I started back up after a 3-week break, and wow, I couldn't eat for a while. I'm down 95+ pounds and haven't felt actually hungry in months. I *want* food, but I'm not *hungry* for it. Stacking 6mg of Tirz and 5mg of Reta, 3 days...

    Stacking Reta and Tirz??

Anyone else running both Retatrutide and Tirzepatide together? I'm on Reta and thinking about adding Tirz. For those who are stacking them, what does your weekly injection schedule look like? there's a whole thread on stacking reta with tirz and the dosing tradeoffs

    Reta/Tirz Cycles - am I crazy?

I agree with Coffee. I've seen people get into trouble trying to cycle these things without a real plan. It's not like TRT where you're trying to manage a hormone level... you're trying to manage your appetite and metabolism. Find what works and cruise.

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

Exactly! I spent so much effort before sema and it wasn't nearly as effective as the effort I'm putting in now. It's so frustrating when people congratulate you and call it the easy way out. Like yeah, driving a car is the easy way out compared to walking 100 miles.

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

You only know what you see. My best friend had bariatric surgery a few months before I started tirz. It's been a tough road. He just had gallstones removed, which they think was from the protein powder. I heard some people get them, some don't. I said no way. Glad I skipped that.

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

Won't they just edit our genes eventually? That would solve a lot of problems, like different clothing sizes. 😉

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

It's situational. This method exists and is all around, but you can't force every overweight person to try it or expect them to know exactly how to use it in an economical manner. Some are afraid or like their vices, plus obesity can mess with your mind. One has to be ready mentally to make use...

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

In just a few short years, most people will come to accept the truth: being overweight is now optional. Any and every justification will soon be a thing of the past. Meaning, nobody *has* to be heavy anymore.

Restaurant booths ain't so scary now!

I hit my 100lb loss mark a bit ago. It wasn't just about the weight though...it was about feeling good again. Enjoy that confidence!

Restaurant booths ain't so scary now!

I had a similar victory recently - I was able to easily get up from a lawn chair with no issues. Before, I'd need help. You look fantastic, congrats!

Reta - One Pound at a Time? Anyone?

I don't think quick titration is the move. The schedule exists for a reason - your body needs time to adapt. Three pounds monthly is solid progress. Getting to 8mg in 30 days is asking for trouble.

Mazdutide: Anyone seen results from phase 2?

Maybe I'm weird but tastes haven't really changed. Just get satisfied quicker and stay that way longer. Way easier to pass on greasy stuff like burgers but they still taste good if I have them.

    One year on the wagon!

Amazing transformations! No loose skin it seems, and you gained muscle--very impressive. Did you say you consumed mostly smoothies? Was it like, a liquid fast?
