I would suggest aiming for around 30g of fiber daily. Some good options are raisin bran, dried plums, fresh pineapple, and even popcorn. Also, I'm slightly lactose intolerant, when I am desperate, I'll have some soft serve ice cream.

I've been experimenting with dosages between 0.5mg and 1mg and seeing positive results. It can be expensive, so if you see the effects at a lower dose no need to increase it.

I agree with Hustle. Tracking side effects is critical. Someone made a searchable database of side effects and treatments from Reddit: it's basically a crowdsourced clinical trial. Very useful to share with your physician, too!
