For those who are tracking, are you also monitoring your diet and exercise? These medications are most effective when combined with lifestyle changes.

Mounjaro for T2D but weight loss stalled?

I understand your concerns and have accepted that even if I'm not losing weight, I'm still improving my A1c, and that's what matters. Good luck and stay healthy! 👍

Mounjaro for T2D but weight loss stalled?

I was on 12.5 mg weekly about a year ago, constantly pushing my doctor to increase the dose because I wanted to lose weight faster. I ended up in the ER one morning with a heart rate of 130 bpm. I was severely dehydrated, and they had to give me five liters of fluid before I even felt the urge...

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

The cinnamon rolls won. But I've noticed that every "protein" product I purchase is chocolate. Shakes, bars, etc. All covered with dark chocolate. I don't get the chocolate craving, so it's annoying. The other flavors are gross.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

I like chocolate, but GLP-1s don't stop migraines.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

I have never liked chocolate. Just don't care. But I am struggling with cinnamon rolls at the moment. Roommate brought home a box of them, and I swear they're calling me.

    Went From Heavy to...Less Heavy!

Seeing these progress reports is so inspiring! I have a friend who dropped about 40 pounds in 5 months using a GLP-1. Said it totally quieted the 'food noise' in their head. Really hoping it works for some of my clients, too.

    Sema second round -- stalled?

I was on semaglutide a while ago, lost some weight, but starting again after my pregnancy was useless. I switched to tirzepatide and that's working for me now.

    Sema second round -- stalled?

2 pounds in a month is still movement in the right direction. Give it more time.

Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

For those who are finding even a low dose difficult, remember that maintaining muscle mass during weight loss is important. Ensure you're getting enough protein in your diet, and consider incorporating some resistance training exercises. https://wfpc.sanford.duke.edu/podcast

    Ozempic: Unexpected Perks?

Yes, stress definitely messes with those hunger signals. Cortisol will do that. Try ashwagandha or magnesium glycinate. that helps

Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

What starting dose did you use? Anything above .25 is a lot! I used .25 for a whole year, losing around 35 pounds and getting my A1C back to normal. When I went up to .50, I lost another 30 or so pounds.

GLP-1 Success Story - My Journey!

That’s quite the change! I started about a month later (mid-April 2025) and started at about the same weight as you (235). I'm only a pound or two above you now. Been stuck there for like 3 weeks, can't seem to get below 170! But I don’t look as great as you do! Congrats! I'm not envious, I'm...

    Ozempic: Unexpected Perks?
